The people who say you don't need guns are the people who can't defend themselves even if they have one too.

LOL claiming the founding fathers were against firearms gave me a good laugh.

I noticed you didn't complain about Bloomberg spending hundreds of millions over the years to take people's guns away.

the stuff I support does not violate the second amendment nor the tenth-yours do. Your shtick is pretending that since you want to ban semi auto rifles (as we have proven in your claims that you want serious infringements on ANYTHING that allows someone to commit mass murder-so revolvers, pump shotguns lever action rifles are all on your ban list) that is no more anti gun than saying military grade anthrax or nuclear bombs are not protected-at a state level by McDonald v Chicago

    Are you claiming that Remington didn't make a Model 700 in .30-06, a 760 pump action in .30-06 or a 742 semiautomatic in .30-06?

Not at all. Only stating the gun I've owned for about 20 yrs and still own and still hunt with.

Why do you ask? Do you know what the model 7400 30-06 from Remmington is?

LOL You are claiming that those models don't exist? Yeah I know nothing about guns even though I was a DOJ firearms instructor-several times All-American in skeet, represented a Title II manufacturer, three major league gun dealers (two of which have Class III sales etc)

you continue to prove to those of us who actually understand firearms that you do not

His comment is inane. the Benoits favored the Remington 760 on 30-06. many years ago I read about them in Sports Afield or Field And Stream. I was in HS at the time IIRC and I still remember they liked that rifle

Don't be asinine. I said that's the gun I own and have use for decades for deer hunting.

I am merely asking is you know anything about it.

Although, my 1st rifle I bought as a teen was a 30-30 winchester lever action.

But I do laugh my ass off at the absolute nonsense you project that is based on your lack of knowledge.

you merely said a Remington 30-06 and that could be one of many. I own 700s in 308-both a PSS (police sniper) and the mountain version which is a very light weight hunting rifle. I don't own either the pump gun that Larry Benoit popularized decades ago, or the semi auto. What I do know is that you are on record wanting to ban or severely restrict, the ownership of common semi auto rifles, shotguns and handguns

Fail. A straw man argument and then a conspiracy theory.

    What?

It's a strawman that the people who created the ****ing 2nd amendment weren't for it?

LoL Bloomberg's anti-gun funding is a matter of record.

What a fail on your part.

So what, a lot of gun banners own guns, which is why so many of them can be considered hypocrites.

By the way this is how you should spell Remington.

    https://www.remington.com/

You would know that if you had one to look at.

If people own guns and use them, then they are NOT gun banners.
It's a nonsense rhetoric some use to scare uniformed people.

French knights owned and used crossbows=they killed peasants who had them. Samurai owned and used swords-killed commoners who had them. Lots of rich politicians have guns and don't want their political enemies armed. Lots of lefties own guns but want to make it tougher on average people to get guns.
