    Dating website ChristianMingle has settled a lawsuit and now will accept same-sex searches. Previously, the site only allowed women to search for men and men to search for women.

    A class-action suit was filed in 2013 by two gay men against Sparks Networks Inc., the owner of ChristianMingle and several other dating sites. The suit alleged that the sites were in violation of California's anti-discrimination law.

    ChristianMingle does not have a monopoly on the dating website market. There's no shortage of dating sites and apps that people can use to find same-sex partners, and there's even a good number of sites for Christian gays to find a partner. (Given the pool, one would think a person would probably have better luck finding someone on one of those sites than ChristianMingle, but I digress.) ChristianMingle is based on Christian beliefs, and a good number of denominations consider homosexual acts to be sinful. It seems rather petty to force a company to change their beliefs rather than simply find (or, heck, start) an alternative dating site.....snip~

    There was a time when liberals stood for freedom, but today they are pandering to facist sociopaths in progressives. What a shame what has happened to the Dems and the left. This is immoral, and wrong on all levels.

    People are unaware of how historically dangerous it is when the government starts presurring businesses into doing what they say. Eventually, the line between government and private business/individual dissapepers and the result is Soviet Russia or North Korea.

    The idea that a Christian dating site is now compelled to cater to gays is ridiculous, un-Constitutional, and unethical. But the left is so blinded by their hate of anyone not agreeing with them, scorched Earth is their preferred policy.

    Yep, if this was truly a conscientious moral issue as its attempted to be portrayed that's what's they would have done - just like the bakers. But it isn't - it's about the money. The dating site just has the benifit of lawyers to inform them of the outcome unlike previous incidents.
