So when Howard as treasurer runs up some debt during a global recession it is all his fault but when Labor treasurers run up debt during a global recession it is not their fault? More hipocrisy from the leftards.

Most people would say planning and making provision for known future outgoings was very astute.

'Howard did nothing' is just Labor propoganda. The lib/Nat coalition did just as much if not more than the previous and subsequent Labor governments.

 

I'll say it was, it is THEIR retirement fund, for their WELFARE.

 

No DV, it is to cover the unfunded superannuation liability for commonwealth public servants working in all those government departments and including the armed forces.
