You keep resorting to whataboutism and lies in a desperate attempt to avoid criticizing trump.

You're double standard is noted. I swear if Trump walked on water you'd complain he can't swim.

I like how you use the phrase "whataboutism" when you hypocrisy is highlighted. I guess it's better then using a curse word.

What lie? Biden did golf with a corrupt Ukrainian gas company CEO...and Hunter...https://www.foxnews.com/politics/jo...ine-gas-company-exec-back-in-2014-photo-shows

That's how he spent his time as VP...meanwhile Pence is in the field

It is whataboutism because you are the one talking about ebola and H1N1 instead of mentioning coronavirus even once. And it would only be hypocrisy if you had a statement from me defending Biden while criticizing Trump for the same thing.

So if you got a quote, provide it.

I have...it's a virus....it's not a good one, and we are working to keep it's impact down....it's killed a handful of old folks, in a dirty city.

it's nowhere near the level of deaths we saw during the Obama/Biden Admin and how they handled the Swine Flu....so i am really not that worried about it.

Also, we currently have a VP working, hands on to handle the situtation...compare to the prior VP, Biden, who was golfing with corrupt Ukrainian gas officials instead

    All they have is "Whataboutism".

    "But...Obama...Ebola..." Is the new "But...Hillary/DNC/Emails... ".

Something that is posted (repetitively) when they have no effective rebuttal.

And, everybody sees right through such lame attempts at deflection.

    A) The H1N1 outbreak was in 2009-2010. The picture of Biden golfing was from 2014.

    B) The picture of Biden golfing was not with some Ukrainian gas official, it was two American board members from that company - one of whom was his son.

Jesus man. Stop resorting to objectively false whataboutisms in an effort to avoid criticizing trump.

Here, try it now - Do you think Trump should avoid lying about the virus, downplaying its threat, contradicting health experts, or praising the benefits of the virus?

    1) ah....I'm sure he was golfing in 2009 and 2010 too....while 12K died. He certainly wasn't in the field running the risk of getting ill like the current VP
    2) An American working for the corrupt Ukrainian gas company...ok...fine....just the VP golfing with two Americans, that were executives with the corrupt Ukainian gas company. I guess that makes it all the better

I have nothing to be critizine Trump for on this issue. But I do note that you are not happy being called out for your hypocrisy

He hasn't done any of those....well maybe downplayed it some, and I have no problem with him doing that, he doesn't want to start a panic

This thread title is literally about Trump saying that the virus has been stopped.

That is both a contradiction of health experts and a lie.

And why are they "adjusting" the numbers? Who are they answering to?

Are you the guy who wanted to bet the number of murders in New Orleans this month would be higher than deaths from Covid-19?

You and I both know that the flu more widespread right now and has killed way more people than the coronavirus. You and I both know that the coronavirus still poses a very significant threat because it is a novel virus for which no one has any antibodies and for which there are no known vaccines or antivirals.

Also, the underlying logic of your question (i.e. there are other threats that have killed more people in that time frame, so do not worry about the coronavirus) is built on a fallacy.

Italy is a couple weeks ahead of us. 49 people died today there. They're a fifth our size.

10 deaths here were from one nursing home. There are 15,000 nursing homes in this country. Math.

Nah, that was a different guy.

He might have self-banned himself though seeing as how COVID-19 has already killed more Americans than murders in New Orleans after ~7 days.

Right, why would you be worried about it? I wonder though, why is the response so much different for c-19 than it was for swine flu?

I'm referring to world wide response. As far as a much more prepared admin, I'd love to know how you came to that conclusion. IF it is more prepared (hard to believe) it would not be because of trump. That guy is a f****** moron.
