One thing is certain: It's all a guessing game. The first COVID-19 virus and all that were replicated in human cells after that are not visible to the naked eye and can't be tracked on radar either.

Yes it's a guessing game, but the Taiwanese, Chinese and Japanese virologists are narrowing down the guesses in a most scientific way, even as CDC and the media refuse to discuss their work.

Trouble is this started in China. It got loose there and may have been part of a weaponization research project but that's speculation at this point.

The best trackers alive, who can track sparrows and grasshoppers and wasps, won't be able to back track this.

for all I know I already had it and have recovered, my coworker had a cough he couldn't get rid of for 2 weeks, bothered him enough that he went and got a chest xray, I had a less severe case for about 6 days but it cleared up.

That's what cast doubt on the 3.5% mortality rate. That number is based on diagnosed cases. The number of undiagnosed cases where people thought they had a bad cold is unknown and likely reduce the mortality rate considerably.

agree, and this is purely hypothetical, could have been just some other random thing that goes around, who the hell knows at this point.

I do know that we're starting to see a local reaction to it, had a 70 yr old in my office this morning, she stayed a solid 8 feet away while we chatted for a few moments, makes sense to me, best to error on the side of caution.

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing. I have a friend who is an obese diabetic, and she had a particularly bad 'flu' recently. Not tested for Corona, of course, though the symptoms were identical. She is often around crowds of international travellers and the like. And yes, I was exposed to her .. twice! But that was more than three weeks ago, so if I caught it, it was either asymptomatic or very very mild. I did have a slight case of the nose sniffles for a few days, but figured it was hay fever. Let's hope it was Corona .. because that makes me immune :p

Exactly. Only the bad cases are being recorded, and they're in the minority. It's probably much closer to an average flu death rate. Could even be lower.

Sadly for this theory, now that the testing ban has been lifted, we have already people who died in previous weeks of what looked severe pneumonia etc but were not allowed to be tested did indeed infect die from Coronavirus.

Some of the WORST cases (since they were dead) have not been, and probably many will never be recorded.

You (and I) have been TOLD it began in China. We've been told that by people notorious for errors and deceptions. You may not realize it yet, but our government and its media are notorious liars.
