that's not what it says-

it doesn't show that there's a 50/50 spilt in DC over pot use, that's what they claim nationally.

anywho. it's lower than the rate blacks get arrested for violent crimes compared to whites. that runs about 10x.

if you don't want to get busted for smoking pot, do it in your home instead of on the porch or walking down the street. and guess what? if you don't carry it around, you won't get busted for that either.

 

I'm talking about the overall usage in DC. Since it's divided between just black and white, and since the study says they're about the same, I use 50/50.

1. I'm just citing this, but I do believe the Colbert Report did a nice job on the math. If only a small percentage of the total African American population commit a violent crime, why then should they be profiled for it?
2. Tell me, how does a cop figure out who has pot, and who doesn't? It would take all day, and be a violent of civil rights if everyone was searched.
