    #1 was a fact, Obama asked for X and then Congress approved X+Y (btw they did it for Trump too maybe pay less attention to Stormy and more attention to important matters).

    #2 is an understanding of force readiness, I have it you don't and that's your problem to solve.

    #3 was an analysis of basic grammar, do they even still teach that in public schools or was it replaced with various race, gender, and Muslim programming lessons?

    #4 I had no explanation for.

    #5 was nothing more than pointing out the fact that it was leftist fake news that insinuated Trump meant Congressional approval (one of the many types of approval in that process) even though Trump never said Congress or even implied it.

    #6 is just a fact about basic military pay - its raised by default based on the ECI and then Presidents can suggest, and Congress can approve, additional raises.

    Come at me with something better next time or I'll just write you off as a troll.

    I take a backseat to nobody in admiration of the heroes who protect us. Unlike many conservatives I believe we should protect their lives in return and that our first priority in increasing military spending should be to increase their pay.

    I'm former military, almost 9 years active duty Navy, former biker (tons of Vietnam Vets are affiliated with MCs), and at 56, of an age where Vietnam Vets, albeit a bit older, are in my social circle. I've heard the stories from the horses' mouths.
