…It was a brilliant way to expose the hypocrisy of the left. After the migrants arrived in the progressive playground, community leaders were outraged.

It caused a full-blown emergency, resulting in the National Guard being deployed to remove the migrants. This did not display much of a caring attitude from leftists who love to tout that they support “sanctuary cities.”

DeSantis noted the irony of President Joe Biden criticizing his decision to transport migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. He said, “I also was a little bit perplexed when I heard that the president is scrambling to get his Cabinet together to try to address the fact that you have governors who are helping to relocate illegal aliens to sanctuary cities…”

…Biden paid more attention to what he and Texas Governor Greg Abbott did instead of the worsening crisis caused by the open border….

…Biden did not “scramble to get his Cabinet together when we had Americans that were victimized by criminal aliens that he let across the border. You didn’t see him scramble to get his Cabinet together when we hit record fentanyl deaths, which, that fentanyl is coming across his open border. It’s only when you have fifty illegal aliens end up in a very wealthy, rich sanctuary enclave that he decides to scramble.”…

…DeSantis is showing the Republican Party how to lead, and voters, as well as donors, are enthusiastically responding.

De Santis is a great American. He is also a great governor. He listens to the people in his state. He makes promises and then actually keeps them. He stands up for the multiracial working and middle class people of his state. Whether it’s immigration or education or keeping the state open with low taxes and limited regulations, he has done right by the people and we are impressed.

If the enemy in this country do succeed in making it so that Trump can’t or won’t run again in 2024, De Santis will be sweet revenge. He will kick Newscums ass and govern in such a way that the left will pine for the days of Trump. De Santis will make an awesome President whether it’s in 2024, 2028 or both.

Said a more accurate way....since the migrants were being moved to a shelter on a military base the National Guard were used to help facilitate the move to the said military base.

Military base? Do you mean the kind surrounded by security fences?

In NYC Adams put them in 4 star hotels.
In Arizona, Biden gave out contracts worth hundreds of millions to his friends to put the illegals in hotels.
Chicago put them in hotels after shipping them out of their city and into a republican one.

We all know what happened here; Biden got a call from Obama and the last words Obama said were 'Joe, don't F this up.'

Yes a base where they are getting shelter and food. Odd you would have a problem with that.

Didn’t AOC have the same problem?

There’s food and shelter in MV and plenty of it. How come every other city has to scramble when the illegals come in but the highly democrat stronghold of MV makes them disappear in less than 48 hours?

This is not a good look for democrats. I’ve read where Obama was reached out to for his thoughts and won’t respond. The guy who had 200 guests in a tent at his house during COVID restrictions couldn’t find a way to help just one person?

I don’t keep tabs on AOC, mainly because I couldn’t give two craps about her. She’s annoying as phuck
They didn’t disappear. The migrants still exist. And they exist in a place that could accommodate them much faster and where they’ve been told they can stay as long as they need to. Not sure why you have issues with that.

El Paso has Fort Bliss, yet the military didn’t take the illegals. In fact, I’m unaware of any military bases taking illegals and the national guard turned down DC’s request for help. But when they’re in Obama’s backyard….

LOL, a tried, tested and successful plan/tactic used by Mexico and endorsed by DNC for a hundred years!

Really what’s going on is you just need something to be outraged about. What’s very comical is how you’re pretending you care about the well being of the migrants. Hahahahahaha..funny stuff.

Same thing crosses my mind when the DNC and other illegal supporters cheer them across the southern boarders after a month of dragging their children and themselves thru 115 degree deserts guided by sex predators and sometime murderers :(

Almost like one of those sickening horror films where people watch and bet on close circuit TV

I didn’t realize the DNC and other illegal supporters had access to tracking the entire travels of these people. Is there a specific channel that has a video feed of their travels so people can watch it and cheer them on?

There was more than enough Airbnb vacancies on the island to house the illegals short term until they could settle in and get work. No need other than the bigotry and prejudice of the local population to move them.

There are usually thousands of vacancies this time of year on MV.

Like Biden is doing to Arizona and Texas as well as the locations he buses or flies them to? Why is it that self proclaimed sanctuary cities and states are having such a hard time dealing with what they claim to support? Is it resentment that in a small way they are receiving a fraction of what Biden is dishing on us?

Somehow I know that the bigots who live in Martha’s Vineyard were quite capable of providing that support had they been willing instead of faking a crisis.

Except for couple of things. Housing was needed right away. It would take time to reach out and try to organize multiple places from multiple owners regarding Airbnb. Also, airbnbs don’t have food service. These people need to eat, right? There’s more involved than just airbnbs being available.

Most people who live there aren’t rich. Median household income is $83k. Your claim is false.

And that would have been the smart political move. The DP elite should not have unzipped their racist white privilege in front of the MSM and its cameras right before an election.

'Stupid rich and white is as stupid rich and white does.' ;-)

Why didn't all the residents of Martha's Vineyard open their homes, hotels, B&Bs to them?

I mean, that is what they advocate for isn't it.

Everybody saw the video of MV residents waving goodbye and the hypocrisy and was thick.

Apparently your the only one that couldn't see that.

Funny how all of a sudden the residents of MV, 25% of which are Republican, have become the enemy number one of Trump supporters. The RW media brainswashing machine is truly powerful.

Outraged? Where do you see outrage except by those on the left? You didn't address the FACT that El Paso has been sending illegals to NYC for nearly a month and Fort Bliss, which is HUGE, is right there in El Paso. And, of course, the residents of MV really cared about the illegals for the 10 minutes they were there, they even took selfies with them.
