    With exception of forced immigration due to slavery, historically speaking most immigrants who arrived here (legally in fact) had the money to start themselves off.

    This is a much different thing than people running across the border illegally who immediately need assistance to survive.

    This made me laugh. You really don't have any idea what's going on. Yes, where are they supposed to stay? Who is providing for them? This is the question that we have been asking. The border states are way past the point where we can take care of them. There is no money and no resources and all the left has to say is that they should be allowed to keep coming so long as they don't wind up in the New England area.

    Most immigrants at that time most certainly, studied and became naturalized, do your own research.. But as far as my lineage goes, grands from Yugoslavia, Mother side and Italy, fathers side all came here "Sponsored" money in hand, a good understanding and able to communicate in English and were relocated to parts of the US matching their skill set. Montana/Wyoming/Colorado..
