They may well be able to weather the storm. But their stock holders don't care about weathering storms.
Especially over woke politics. They care about not losing their money
Which is why they bailed and Disney stock is stuck around $100.

Seems you keep running from the same question over and over with nothing but deflections.
    Why is that?

Do you want woke corporations telling state voters they have to allow the indoctrination of gay and trans sexuality issues to be taught to your 5 year old?
Or do you want state governments to stop any indoctrinations of 5 year olds in local schools?

DeSantis problem is that he targets a single corporation while claiming its done to 'level the playing field", while he leaves 2000 other special districts untouched. Its the opposite of level playing field. The court might decide the law must apply to all districts equally, and then we're taking about some pretty big ones, like The Villages, which is the home to over 80 000 retirees (mostly Repubican), and Daytona Race Track, and other amusement parks like the Universal Studios, which is right next door to Disney.

None of those districts have anywhere close to the self governing privileges as the Reddy Creek exclusions. Not even close.
Disney is its own self governing body. They don't need permits to build anything and they control everything on property.

This is not a comparison in any way to the Reddy Creek exclusions.

Yes, but the Mouse has had decades of experiences of weathering storms, manuevuering through bad times and the funds to deal with any issue so it's not like it's gonna doom them. They've got the money to get A1 lawyers so they're not scared.

Nobody says they don't. The problem is, your stock holders are leaving in droves over this.
They don't support your fight to indoctrinate 5 year olds with trans and Gay sexuality issues.
Disney's woke agenda has cost them their Reddy Creek privilege's.
Did you think there are an infinite amount of people buying Disney stock? Nope

There stock value has already tanked over 123 billion over this. Do you think they can weather all the way down to collapse?
Is this the new agenda for stock holders to consider? Disney is going to spend billions more in this fight?
You think Disney can out weather every voter in Florida?
best of luck with that idea

Disney in no way is in danger of collapsing. Again, decades of experience has probably helped them avoid that on multiple occasions.

I was just coming on to post this exact same post (well, close enough).... Those 2 are mentioned as the largest comps to Disney....

    https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/reidout-blog/desantis-disney-special-tax-district-status-rcna26037

Haven't read the Disney suit yet, but no way they don't mention those other special districts NOT being targeted...

You stated these No policy, only trolling and quasi-fascism
You know, The same No policy, only trolling and quasi-fascism Republican policies Democrats in the House and Senate voted for.
But we know you don't want to admit that because its destroys your narrative.

I never claimed they were collapsing.
I stated There stock value has already tanked over 123 billion over this. Do you think they can weather all the way down to collapse?
Meaning, if they don't get back on track, stock holders are not going to follow.

As I said “Citizen United” gave Disney the freedom to spend money on politics. Disney as a corporation can have any political / Woke stand they want. If people don’t like Corporation’s political position, people have the right not to spend money on that particular corporation.

But it is astonishing that someone claim to be conservative, disband all core principle of conservatism – Limited government, Government stay out of business , and punishing business because of their political view.

At least be honest and say “ we no longer believe in smaller government”, we conservative believe “ business bow before us or we will destroy you”.

At least Mitch McConnell was honest about it

"So my warning, if you will, to corporate America is to stay out of politics," McConnell told reporters at a news conference in Louisville. "It's not what you're designed for. And don't be intimidated by the left into taking up causes that put you right in the middle of one of America's greatest political debates."

"You know, Republicans drink Coca-Cola, too," McConnell said Tuesday. "And we fly. And we like baseball. This is a pretty competitive political environment in America as I just pointed out a 50-50 Senate. If I were running a major corporation, I'd stay out of politics."

Limited Government conservatism in display! Telling business where they can stick their noise and where they can’t.

I disagree with Niki Haley 100% of the time but she is right, South Carolina is not so sanctimonious.

Any way , Ron the Sanctimonious campaign is over even before it began. Even his own home state Senator Rubio attacking Ron for going after Disney.

You should tell it to the Democrats who voted for the bill.

I don’t have to point anything. Ron the Sanctimonious picked a fight he can’t win. He is done with his presidential quest. Even his own Party leaders including Speaker of the House is attacking him on this issue.

Still waiting on your quote on any part of Citizens United that states corporations can spend money on politics.

Also still waiting on the answer on this question you have deflected from 3 times now.
Do you want woke corporations telling state voters they have to allow the indoctrination of gay and trans sexuality issues to be taught to your 5 year old?
Or do you want state governments to stop any indoctrinations of 5 year olds in local schools?
