You think those who were standing in line to watch Trump , wearing trump hat saying “ we are ok with the day one dictator” are radical left?

Dude we have a court system as a balance to congressional over reach for a reason. That's also why it takes a super majority to over ride a presidential veto.

No you are marching lockstep toward a new racist society in which white males have no rights almost entirely because they are the only demographic that doesn't buy any part of the wild eyed progressive left's ridiculous, totalitarian schemes,

Why the assumption that ANYONE loves DONALD TRUMP? I'm sure there are a few but I don't see it as wide spread

    We have that today.

But, just like before FDR, we are a representative democracy.

It's that representative democracy that Trump and other Republicans have worked to destroy.

There are numerous Achilles heels in the US Federal government's constitution, imo. One of the biggest flaws imo was the system implemented under Ike giving the nuclear football to the Potus. By its constitution only the Congress has the power to declare war. In my business this would be an action item resulting from a "gap analysis" of compliance with a plant's operating practices versus a corporate standard. That the executive branch could unilaterally launch nukes would be a clear violation of Congressional control. This is probably one of the most substantial risks to life on Earth as we know it.

Utter nonsense. On every count, what we have is an increasingly fascist bureaucracy with neither check nor balance.

Of course congress approved it. Mosquitoes will always approve more blood. I not sure which gun law you are referring to, but Im sure those approving still enjoy armed security. You are right to criticize the right on authoritarianism. If you are a Dem, you are not pointing with clean hands.

We have 53 federal agencies all of which are essentially unelected and unchecked. 19 different agencies most of which work inside the country and only about every 40 years does anyone bother to try to reign in their power and much of official DC is actually proud of that fact. Call it what ever you want but don't call it liberty.

Republicans have a majority in the House.

Trump was the last previous president.

What we have is a representative democracy, so you get a voice. But, no matter how we make decisions, you can't expect that your wishes will consistently win.

Our legislature, with your representatives, has the power to check our federal agencies.

And, they have done that. Relatively recent limits placed on the EPA is an example. Also, cutting the budget of the CDC and limiting what it may address is an example.

Oh, really! So, a planned insurgency aimed at overthrowing our democratically elected president is not an example??

And, the organized assault on our voting rights by creating fake electors is somehow not of interest to you?

What the heck form of decision making are you interested in promoting?

Are you actually promoting Trump's promised dictatorship?

That leaves some questions unanswered, of course.

But, I'm happy you aren't backing the Trump dictatorship direction.

It cannot do so without the cooperation of the senate, and the neocons, and Democrats both of whom seem quite content to late the administrative state wreck the country in order to rule it with an iron hand. Those limits were placed by the courts not congress.

Democrats have always enjoyed their segregation. Just ask them.
