That falling ownership rate is courtesy the Left. Obama being a significant factor in that decline.

It's going the OTHER way, dear!!!

Equality means merit (each of us according to character and actions). That's the only context in which 'all men are created equal' is true. Anything else is grotesquely unjust and inequitable.

You claim to be a foreigner. Don't give us your made up BS about what goes on in USA.
    You would have no clue.

    The world always progresses.
Else we'd still be living in caves.

There was a time when people bought and sold other people. That doesn't happen anymore. At least legally.

It's literally impossible to police, without profiling. Consider the ratio of LE Officers, to citizens.

It's absurdly unrealistic to think LE Officers have the time and resources to stop and consider the bigger picture every time there is a threat to the community. You would end up with far more crime, and far more dead people.

Why would they respond with mayhem? Bangladeshis don't do that, and half of them can't even find their next meal.

You do realise why they decline to draw attention to it though, don't you? They want it to keep happening. They don't want anything 'fixed', because that would see blacks getting uppity again like they did late last century.

If all we're going to do is get up and go to work, then STEM is more than valuable, it's essential. If we're going to better understand the world around us, improve creativity, and find solutions to today's problems, we can't ignore the Arts.

I sometimes wonder if there isn't a bit of biology at play in how we think and view the world.

Depends what you mean by progress. The plummeting rate of black home ownership is NOT progress, for example.

A large portion of IQ testing deals with language. How we understand the world depends much on language. In fact, language may be a key component of our consciousness. Yet language, linguistics, literature, philosophy, etc., are dismissed as unimportant. What is the root of the word, 'literate'?

Likewise, the Chinese suffered horribly during the 20thC. As did many Indo-Chinese during the Vietnam era. And it's not like India has been a safe and prosperous nation, nor has Africa. Yet Africa and India produce some of the best surgeons and scientists on earth, and China some of the best business minds. Irregardless of where they live they take this cultural advantage with them, and do well regardless of racism or history.

The problem in America, is that the Left has exploited and demoralised black people horribly for the past 20 years.

Sure, but the great mistake is making a fetish of the arts. Healthier societies experience art as a function of day to day life .. it's in the decoration on their eating utensils, or the shape of their thatched roof, or their religious ceremonies, or their traditional clothing.

Maybe. The point is that white Progressives don't think of brown people as fully realised self-determining people. They think of them as 'disabled'.

Affordable housing is SO wrong. It's absolutely abused and exploited, and thus lost to those who would use it for its intended purpose.

Good plan. Progressives need to stop making everything about race, and start working towards equality.

I don't disagree with that, as long as we're not going to make this an us/them issue.

That IS the arts. Always has been, since we dropped out of the trees.

Fetish art is just a hobby for the very very rich. Those who don't need to work for a living. That's a tiny proportion of what constitute art on planet earth - and it adds no more value to daily life than does the other kind.
