    So processed convenience food is not cheap.
    It's easy. It's not cheap.
    It sells because it's easy, tasty, and heavily advertised. Do you think the cost of advertising is somehow not added to the price of such items?

    It is cheap. That's why poor people can afford them. Just not the cheapest.

    Just because poor people buy something doesn't mean they can afford it.

    Your need for it to be 'cheap', to avoid having to admit that brown people might be human enough to be fallible, is disturbing.

    In fact buying stuff they can't afford is why they stay poor. Their food choices being front and centre.

    They CAN'T afford it. That's the problem. That's why they remain poor. Just because you have the money in your pocket for those frozen meals today, doesn't mean you won't need the money you would have saved had you made them yourself, tomorrow.

    Being able to pay for something and being able to afford it, are two very different things.
