The only hope for peace and security and economic prosperity for the Gazan people is for Israel to complete the eradication of Hamas from the Gaza Strip.

Those are two different things. Getting an accurate count of the dead is not the same as noticing Israel is dropping bombs on starving civilians and occasionally shooting people around aid distribution centers.

The US is part of the problem here.

We have a very long history of supporting Israel in MAJOR ways. AIPAC is strong here.

This can NOT continue in the same way. The USA can NOT hold to it's stated principles while helping to implement genocide.

Thus we have major demonstrations in opposition to that slaughter as well as demonstration oriented to HELPING that slaughter.

It's hard to correct the course of our nation in a rapid manner.

The costs to the US are high and growing. Far from being a needed example of democracy interested in the law in that region, Israel has made itself a beacon of seething hate and self aggrandizement to all who surround it.

This can not be what the USA stands for.

From the river to the sea —- Palestine will be free is a slogan calling for the destruction of Israel. That slogan explicitly eliminates any support for a two state solution from muslim Arabs.

Genocide is the goal of Hamas. Hamas has attacked Israel continuously from Gaza since 2007. Israel is defending itself from the genocidal attacks from Hamas.

Israel provides military security in the West Bank since Israel pushed the Jordanian army across the river in the 1967 six day war. Israel has established a secure border at the river. The PA provides governance in the West Bank at the pleasure of Israel. Israel is not stealing land in the West Bank. Arab civilians in the West Bank benefit from the security supplied by Israel. If Israel left the West Bank Hezbollah would turn the West Bank into a hell hole as Hamas has done to Gaza.

 

If you have a point to make then do so.
