And of course you PERFECT liberal supporters don't, come off the grass, most posts and threads started here by Abbott supporters or Labor knockers is full of low tactic name calling. How many times have I seen the word Troll relating to Gillard, or JuLIAR nor you homophobes calling all greens tree hugging homosexuals. The LIBERALS and you LIBERAL supporters invented gutter politics
Not according to my union. Abbott plans to wipe out our public health system, and sorry yes there is guilt by association. I am very worried for the working people of Australia because if you look at what is happening here...... I would not have believed that people can turn up for work and be told that they are now to do the same job on half hours half pay I would not have believed in Australia that a state government would enact "gag" orders on NGO's http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensland/ngos-blast-government-gag-rule-20120821-24ju3.html I would not have believed that in Australia you could have your photograph taken at a union rally http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...-to-bad-old-days/story-e6frg6n6-1226511819827 http://www.greenleft.org.au/node/52189
The difference between Abbott and Gillard isÂ…? I agree, that Abbot is guilty of the inflictions you mention, but what about Gillard? Gillard is also guilty of being a pathological liar. She speaks in a drone-like monotone voice, which is obviously rehearsed, and she constantly repeats sentences, comparable to someone suffering with autism and down syndrome. They are both bad cartoon characters with the intellect of snow flakes, and Australia and the Australian people have been poorer by Gillard being the PM, and will be poorer when Abbott becomes the PM. This election has always been a race to the bottom, not the top, and we as a society are only going suffer more, if we keep voting these same clowns into Govern us and our country. They both should have a brain scan, and both would fail it. I also believe that neither one of them would get much more than a score of 80 on a basic IQ test.
BB, please don't tell me you actually believe what you read in the QNU magazine! The QNU is a blatant Labor party campaign organisation. They will make up anything that is anti Abbott or anti Newman. Don't get me wrong, I think the Queensland LNP government is stuffing up with what they are doing to Qld. Health, they are sacking the wrong people. But that has nothing to do with what Abbott might or might not do. It's like saying I won't vote for Juliar becuase Bligh sold all Queensland's state forests (and the land they stand on). What Bligh did has nothing to do with what Juliar might or might not do. You are being sucked in by the union scare campaign.
Hey! It is MY union!! And it is more than a union it is also a professional body (although not so much) Yes we have a right to be concerned since the Author of some of the hack and slash was Abbott's old buddy Costello!
Actually Abbott and Costello ( great pun always makes me smile ), dislike each other immensely. Abbott was and has never been a fan of Costello economics. Maybe Costello was never hardline enough ??
You are applying guilt by association between Abbott & Costello without proof, are you not? Its somewhat contradictory how you didn’t apply the same philosophy of guilt by association between pharmaceutical drug cartels and doctors in our discussion regarding vaccines, when there was proof. LMFAO.
Is Julia Gillard a Lesbian? She has never married or maintained a long term relationship with a man, never had children and the body language between her and Tim is all wrong.
Why?......this wouldn't have anything to do with the personality gutter politics notion that you stand on so righteously would it?
Lets face it, Gargoyle is as rough as guts without hours in front of the make-up mirror. You know what they say about these “butch” man hating lesbians who want to look like men - no make up and no washy washy.
Look I can understand if Julia is a lesbian, I am a practising one myself. She just has to be be very careful about throat cancer. It could get tongues wagging you know !
Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? You been out ridin' fences for so long now Oh, you're a hard one I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin' you Can hurt you somehow Don't you draw the queen of diamonds, boy She'll beat you if she's able You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet Now it seems to me, some fine things Have been laid upon your table But you only want the ones that you can't get Desperado, oh, you ain't gettin' no younger Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home And freedom, oh freedom well, that's just some people talkin' Your prison is walking through this world all alone Don't your feet get cold in the winter time? The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine It's hard to tell the night time from the day You're losin' all your highs and lows Ain't it funny how the feeling goes away? Desperado, why don't you come to your senses? Come down from your fences, open the gate It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you You better let somebody love you, before it's too late
The problem isn't Gillard & Abbott, or even the Labor & Liberal parties. The problem is the system of government we have where the executive is maintained by the confidence of the legislature. It gives the parties near unilateral power. The solution is to move to a Republican system of government; or better yet, get rid of the state altogether. We're perfectly capable of coexisting in a voluntary system.
Um look up the new anti-bikie legislation, YES GUILT BY ASSOCIATION, not to mention a hell of a lot of posts here.
Thanks for your intelligent post. We tried to move to a republic. Unfortunately, the way the proposal was written would have given politicians the final vote on who the Australian President was, and not the people. In that circumstance, nothing would have changed from the current situation. Whereby we vote for a political party, and the political party nominates the PM, or can change the Australian Prime Minister without the consent of the Australian voters. This is why the referendum to change to a republic was defeated. The people would not have voted for the Australian President; politicians would have. Can you imaging how much underhandedness and corruption would have occurred if that situation was allowed to happen.
