I am fascinated by the Left's love affair with Islam. For a bunch of folks who claim to own the market on tolerance and compassion, to jump in bed with folks who hang homosexuals from construction cranes and stone rape victims to death is beyond comprehension. There can be only one motivation: The enemy of my enemy is my friend. So strong is their singular focus on deconstructing "Western patriarchy" and destroying the values that built our modern societies that they are able to look past the abject cruelty perpetrated by some Muslims toward infidels or apostates, or they really don't actually care in the first place and only want political power at any cost.

 

Interesting how the right doesn't think things through. In this case the bus aide was probably trying to defuse or prevent violence on the bus. The article also says "Within seconds of boarding a bus to Hidden Oaks Middle School, a bus aide told him to remove the hat and put it in his backpack.." which makes sense if the concern was for potential conflict.

It also says "Johansson (the kid's mother) said other students were wearing MAGA hats during the day, and he was allowed to wear it at school." So that means the bus aide gave the hat back to him, probably as he got off the bus. And that pretty well defuses the outrage of the right here who try to claim taking the hat was a political act.

Why would a presidential campaign hat cause violence or a conflict? Maybe the aide should have been solving the real problem here and removing the violent children from the others. What if the kids on the bus started picking on a kid because he was wearing a big bird t-shirt? Should we strip the child down or expel the little criminals?

You even heard him question his assailant in the video, surprise in his voice as he was under the impression it was Hat Day and that students were allowed to wear hats.

Conversion is a tort: It applies when someone intentionally interferes with personal property belonging to another person. It is the civil equivalent of theft. At the minimum, this bully should be fired.

The rules on the school bus are set by the district, not by the "aid" who in this case turned out to be nothing but a vengeful bully. You can try to twist logic until it breaks, but the kid was not in violation of the rules. He was simply walking to his seat on the bus and the "adult" decided to enforce her own moral code on this innocent young man. This was not an act of discipline as you laughably assert: It was plain old bullying.

Furthermore. Put a white adult knocking an Obama hat off a black kid and the town would still be burning. You'd likely be supplying the torches.
