    Like, when will search be fixed???

    Granny wantin' to know why dey got a feedback forum when dey don't read the posts?

    You're kidding, right? I've had at least 10 DB Errors, a few 'server busy's and been logged out at least 15 times TODAY.

    It's as bad as it was 2 yrs ago when we were told they're fixing it.

    I'm sure now that Obama won re-election, all our problems will be solved post haste.

    Things are so desperate I had to go to the gym today and run on treadmills and everything.

    Still, at least Obama got back in.

    Better than what, might be a more appropriate question.

    **sigh**

    I've been here just over a year, and experiencing the same connectivity issues. Actually, they seem to be getting a bit more frequent as of late.

    Example; A few moments ago I made a post, noticed a typo, and tried to edit. 7 (seven) minutes later, I was finally able to.

    It's doing worst today than on election night when the Forum servers were loaded down with the most posters.

    However its the price of not selling out to Google ads and Corporate sponsorship.

    I can honestly say that I have never seen a board like this one. It takes ages to get a page, server too busy notice often and database error as well. This board needs to move server and get someone who knows something about running a forum to run it.

    why is this forum so slow? Do you need to upgrade the server? very frustrating to post something and then have to wait and repost etc several times. Please fix it.

    This forum is most definitely worse than I remembered it. I haven't been here in awhile, decided to look the place over, and it took me several minutes just to get to the point where I could make this post.

    I remember an argument on World Events many months ago where several people were accusing each other of being agents of some foreign power or another who were paid to post on servers as sock puppets as a means to spread favorable PR or somesuch. I responded to all of that by saying that no corporation or country would want anyone posting on this site due to monetary reasons, that is, in the time it would take to make one post here, you could make several dozen if not a hundred or more posts on another site. It wouldn't be cost-effective to post here.

    So the site problems have a silver lining: We are at least what we say we are.

    I guess it would be up to whoever's site it actually is.

    Who is that, btw? Do they post on here, or anything?

    My feeling is that if it has been this way, for this long, it ain't gonna get better.
