Not sure about that ,but UM sure prooved my point .

 

I find it endlessly fascinating how various branches of science sequester themselves away from each other, when collaborating data could lead to quantum leaps in new understandings of the world around us.

Of note is the entire field of agricultural and zoological sciences; without which we would not eat, and many rare and endangered species would not exist. What they have known and practiced for decades is the training of male stud animals, taken just on the eve of puberty, to literally any sexual fixation [orientation] under the sun. Sexuality, thankfully, is very malleable at this stage in life across mammalian species. So it is quite easy to take a young male animal and purposefuly crosswire his normal arousal just blooming towards females of his species, and train him into sexually performing and becoming thereafter aroused to, often exclusively only aroused to literally anything under the sun. A phantom dummy mount, another male, [as is common with bulls trained to become excited to steers]...anything that is made comfortable, pitched with three or four reinforcing sessions can "turn out" any number of artificial sexual orientations in male animals across species.

This is done to get a maximum amount of semen from superior stud animals to improve genetics. One male cannot mount hundreds of females a day. But one sample of ejaculate can...shipped overnight all over the world. Pretty boring stuff. Common household knowledge by now.

So it's odd that if everyone knows about the why of artificial insemination, the "how" is conveniently left out. I'm including it here so that any psychologists reading might take a cue from other scientists on sexual orientation and its causal agents.
