I realize it is politically inconvenient for you to admit otherwise, but surely you can't believe this superstitious vomit. Please talk to an epidemiologist. This ignorance can get people killed. Please learn to value truth and lives over your political religious beliefs.

When presented with facts, result to trolling. A familiar pattern.

You better open an epidemiology book, and learn how to integrate a curve to find the area under it.
The notion of flattening a curve is not taught as something to decrease the number of infections.
But maybe you can cite that reference for me.

Okay, that being your answer, we'll both have to agree to disagree on this thread. Case closed.

So you must have a point to make regarding the % required for herd immunity.
Just make it, I know you're just itching to uncork it.

Distancing measures are to spread the number over time, not decrease the number.
Where do you get this ridiculous idea?

But still everyone gets and and kills hundreds of thousands.

If the economy breaks down, we all starve. Starvation has a case/fatality rate of 100%

Well yes, the movers and shakers of the Dem Party are thinking precisely that way. Most of their followers, however, are BELIEVERS. They bought into the fear porn and cannot even conceive of applying logic to their circumstances.

Someone said something about prophylaxis on the television, so I wear a condom 24-7 just to be sure. Women can wear a chastity belt.

That's a function of you and your known posting habits here rather than not having evidence. I can post ~10 convincing pieces of case-fluffing evidence near instantly, have already posted them several times in several threads.

You will 1) ignore them, 2) hair-split them, 3) red herring, 4) derail, 5) "Orangemanbad" 6) ad hom, etc. anything other than answer them directly and honestly. Next similar thread, could be even the very next day, you'll be trotting out the same old shtick "where's the proof, you didn't post any proof?" again on the exact same issue. Why bother? You never or very rarely that I've seen evidence ANY claims you make in any threads. What makes you think you are due evidence or explanations of anything here? You aren't.

Cute, but false. No, you don't regularly respond with facts when challenged, and this is another specific example of you refusing to do so. You are trying to sling (false, by the way) accusations in order to avoid the request for evidence because you have no evidence. But keep projecting. It is easier than answering honestly. Don't worry, though, no one thinks you or anyone else will ever answer my challenge honestly. We all know you have nothing. You also don't comprehend the basics of intellectual honesty. When someone makes a claim, it is up to them to provide evidence. Period. I know this puts your side at a disadvantage, but it remains a standard of honest debate for obvious reasons, and no one capable or interested in honest debate can deny it, for obvious reasons that I can explain to you if you really want to pretend you don't understand. Yes, when you make a claim, it is your responsibility to provide evidence for your claim when asked. Anyone who denies this is either lying or incompetent.

Although no person can predict the future, we can only make Bayesian educated guesses of what might happen in the pandemic. Those protesting the mostly voluntary pandemic "shutdown" will come to the realization in about four weeks that they made a huge mistake and become desperate. The estimated 2% death rate doesn't not respect ideology, but it does respect behavior. The 2% death rate doesn't mean the 2% is evenly distributed throughout population--that is a conceptual error understanding "average." Entire families, and towns were wiped out by the Spanish flu in 1918 so that the deaths stochastically clustered around those that didn't self quarantine, or did so too late. Watch for the infection and dead toll clustering. There will be a second wave.

Someone not challenged would simply look it up. But of course they would risk learning something that they don't want to learn. Looking it up oneself does work . . . if one is determined to give it an honest effort. There's always a catch, eh?

Translation: Your opinion has no basis in facts and you are so insecure about that fact that you need to project your inability to base you opinions in fact onto others.

When people are "triggered" when asked for evidence, they were never considering evidence in the first place. Exhibit Z.
