That's not even counting the NICS checks skipped by those with a License To Carry. I didn't have to do a NICS check since 2008, and I have bought several guns since then. There are over a million like me in Texas and about 1.5M in Florida. I think about 13M nationwide.

Yeah you are correct, That's mentioned further in the article, I just didn't get it in my post. It's gotta drive the anti-gun folks nuts that all the fear mongering being done hasn't slowed down the train at all. Reminds me of a bunch of Hollywood has been actors trying to sway the electoral college votes. Neither of them can face reality.

dogs are not useless. They warn you and the right kinds/numbers of dogs DO deter almost anyone. That said, they are not allowed in many rental homes/apartments (for good reasons) and they are expensive to get-trained/feed/keep. As in thousands of $ per year.

They're gonna have to get real desperate before they can top the mirth they presented us with in the "I Will Survive" video.

I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe.

Every once in awhile I come across a feel good story, thought I'd share once again why it will be near impossible to stop the train. The article also has other interesting tidbits.

    Jaw Dropping, eh?

South Dakota just became the latest to pass it.

In the next 4 years or so it'll get even better. Brings a tear to my eyes.

The Concealed Carry movement will gain much momentum in holdout States and Municipalities as those without CCW will finally Vote properly.

    New York State needs pre-emption.

Aside from those going Constitutional, virtually all states will be compelled at minimum to become 'Shall Issue'.

A dog alerts you that it is time to get your gun and be ready.

They can be a deterrent to unarmed (even sometimes armed) criminals. I often advocate a dog (in addition to a gun) for many single women, particularly if they are outside running, or doing other similar activities. Most criminals seek easy targets, not unpredictable ones.

But, When I teach, I often teach how not to profile as an easy target, a victim in wait. Many people don't understand two legged predators operate much as four legged ones that seek out the weak, the young and the unwary. Aside from having the ability to defend yourself, looking as if you can will often result in a criminal seeking easier prey and you not having to defend yourself. My favorite way of winning a fight is not having one.

Dogs aren't going to respond the way most people think.

Unless they are specifically trained to attack intruders, they'll retreat and only attack if cornered, and sometimes not even then.

A small yappy dog is worth it's weight in gold as an early warning.

Any thing would crash on the tracks laid by the Obama Admin. But we will see what we will see...I am not into speculation of the future based on media bias. The results will tell one way or the other and it will be apparent to all.
I am not a Trump fan, definitely not a Hillary fan, and generally skeptical of anyone that wants the job, but it's not easy to see how things can get much worse than the last 8 years, a cancer that spread to state and local government.
I think the GOP should have had a HC plan forged over 7 years in the wings. That they didn't do so is not encouraging. We will see if big money and the Washington tar pits with the entrenched elitist sharks swallow the Trump Admin like most previous ones. The fundamental issues of special interest money and life long politician careerists are still in place, so, again, not encouraged. The only thing encouraging is a continuing swell of people tired of self serving elitist politicians. The only silver lining might be a light for the 2A... we might need it.

But everybody already knows rabbits are killers. With the NFA and restrictions on Holy Hangrenades the Rabbits pose a threat to us all.

Naw not a chance...Allowing people the ability to defend their lives everywhere will take a mandate cause the ignorance of the anti-gunners knows no bounds.

Goodness, how do the anti-gun pro national gun law activists even handle this type of movement?
You know my favorite comment in the article "The Wisconsin Supreme Court was dominated by anti-rights liberals until recently. They refused to accept the clear meaning of Section 25. Most of the leftist justices have been replaced." People are sick of the lies perpetuated by the anti gun movement.

BM members only pretend to care about stopping crime. their silly proposals won't do squat but those proposals do accomplish the goals that the BM really care about-harassing honest gun owners who don't buy into the leftwing agenda that almost every BM member supports

Gun Ban Advocates only care about Gun Bans, they may say; "If it saves only one Child, it will have been worthwhile."

However, the reality is, Gun Ban advocates do not give a Rats butt about Children, they only care about their love of Gun Bans.
