He was defending his home. You have heard of the Castle Doctrine right? You are aware that no charges were pursued against him correct?

you can’t use the castle doc to defend your home from police exercising a warrant

That's your idea of a link?

A vague claim with no date?

He might have been articulately spoken, as is Barrack Hussein Obama, but he lacked the arrogance with the "ghetto bounce".

Negative. Taylor's boyfriend heard the cops as well. Apparently, the Grand Jury (who actually heard all the evidence that you and I are not privy to) believed no charges were necessary against the two officers who were fired upon.

Completely false. Her BF specifically said he did NOT hear the cops “announce”.

He heard them knocking at the door, thus he armed himself and shot one of the officers. Apparently, the Grand Jury (who actually heard all the evidence that you and I are not privy to) believed no charges were necessary against the two officers who were fired upon.

And 11 out of 12 other witnesses did not hear it

The 11 other people weren't witnesses they were asleep in the apartments far away...the neighbor heard the knocking

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ng-what-we-know-about-kentucky-woman-n1207841

"Her address was listed on the search warrant based on police's belief that Glover had used her apartment to receive mail, keep drugs or stash money. The warrant also stated that a car registered to Taylor had been seen parked on several occasions in front of a "drug house" known to Glover."

The drug trade is a deadly game...it's tragic she got caught up in it

He.... being the 11 witnesses who also did not here an announcement?

He who called 9/11 stating that “someone” broke into his house and shot his girlfriend?

ok.whats your point? nobody would expect a person living sleeping at the other end of the complex to hear a knock....the neighbor on the other hand...

Curious how the trial will go. Did he have a reasonable target he was firing at? What are the regulations firing blindly into an building such as an apartment where a reasonable person knows bullets can go through walls? That type of stuff.

This is an example of making assumptions, which I tried to discourage in my post #269. There is a good liklihood, though no one will know for sure until the ballistics results come back, that it was one of the other cops, friendly fire, which accidentally hit the officer-- and, come on, you have to admit it seemed pretty impressive, or pretty lucky, that a guy who was caught in the middle of what seemed to him like a home invasion could fire a single round & hit one of in intruders in the femoral artery.

As for your asking Lesh for a link about the neighbors who didn't hear the police announce themselves, I will quote NY Times reporter Rukmini Callimachi, from her twitter feed:

And of the nearly dozen neighbors we spoke to, only *one* said he heard them scream police - a truck driver who was on the staircase above her apartment, returning from a late shift. I asked Cameron if that is sufficient? To warn people in middle of the night that its police?

Ms. Callimachi not only has been covering the story but was on-site when the grand jury came back w/ its decision. I encourage you to follow the link below to clear up some misconceptions. It is important to note that police are trained to announce themselves loudly enough so that not just people in the apartment they're entering can hear, but everyone in the complex, even if they're asleep. You'll find her quote from the retired Police Academy instructor, who'd trained these very officers in there as well. Although, it seems I've seen you on this thread quite a bit, making similar arguments. Had you not noticed that I'd given this link twice before?

sorry no the cop standing beside one another didn’t shot the other they were firing at the guy firing at them in front of them
