I'm a complete stranger, yet from day one, you allow me to view your photo album, unbeknownst to me it was "eyes only" all along. Makes sense...*sarcasm* May I suggest blacking out details, on photos you upload, you don't want revealed like name tag/tape, rank or unit patches..regardless of your privacy settings.
I do believe I added you to "contacts" after you had fully established yourself as a former USAF pilot. I put a lot of trust in people that were or are in the service, but thanks for letting me know that it cannot be applied to you. I gave you too much credit, despite that whole spiel we've gone through with multiple posters about keeping certain things confidential. That's my bad.
Anyone can claim they are former USAF...are you that naive? Have you seen my DD214, have you ever met me in person? Oh by the way, here's a photo album, I'm marking it "Private"....which is complete b.s. as I could access the album very early on since you joined the forum. You're putting this on me, when it is you who screwed the pooch...I've warned you before, do not reveal personal details about your life on the internet... I've already apologized for posting a photo, you're not getting a pound of flesh...Shylock . (obscure Shakespeare reference) I advise you to delete your album immediately and not be so trusting for your own good. Good day.
I don't give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) about your apology nor what retard logic you used to justify pulling a picture from my PRIVATE album to post. I've acknowledged that it was my bad as well, so shut the hell up already.
I bet you're really 5'11. For some strange reason a lot of guys seem to round up the last inch or two to that magical 6 ft mark.
6 , 2 260 lbs, all fat... this is a good reflection of my physique, very inviting like a teddy bear, but very deadly also.
You're right. A lot of guys do that but the Marines measured me at six foot on the dot so I'm official. Government data never lies...
I was once measured for three physicals in two weeks and got three different heights (5'8.5", 5'10", 5'11"). Ye gods.
Not while I was in, but that was before they repealed DADT and started integrating women into ground combat elements, so maybe it's different now.
I had some absolute (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) of a Master Sergeant who was about 5'4 with severe Napoleon complex always measure me at 6"2 for the height/weight part of the PFT. Every doctor/nurse/SNCO before and after always measured me at 6'3 and a half inch. I have NO idea why this angry little man always did that. If anything, his view from WAY down there should have made me taller. I guess he was trying to fail as many people on the weight scale as possible.....which was again stupid because even though I was only about 5lbs below my underreported height, at 10% BF I would have breezed through the tape test. No one says the Marine Corps is smart though. We had a Marine in my platoon get non-rec'ed for 6 months for Corporal because he was about 220lbs at 6'0. The guy was an absolute monster and always ran 290+ pfts, squated about 400lbs, and was ripped to shreds. Of course the weak skinny little cross country boys who never touched a weight in their off time, but were blessed with the perfect little slight build to always rip off 10ish pull-ups and a 21 minute run were "good to go". There's a serious error in the military's physical fitness standards. Luckily, the CFT is a step in the right direction.
