Like one of the mums said why not present the science and let the kids make up their own minds.

The science is NOT in that AGW is the cause of the Earth's climate change.

Besides, the entire public school system as an idea was invented for the purpose of brainwashing, before you think education. Sorry, not everyone is American, so I must state, that at every US public schools, the morning starts with everyone standing up and reciting the Pledge of Allegence to the USA. I agree that you should have allegence to the country you subscribe to, but forcing you to ritually re-declare it every day is brainwashing. How can you think of alternatives should you chose to if you keep reciting the same thing over and over again?

Kids should be taught about climate change. Its a fact that the earth is warming up, and school is there to teach the kids the facts about the country/earth.

 

As long as kids are taught basic physics and chemistry - then the whole climate change thing will become blindingly obvious to them

While AGW may indeed be the accepted hypothesis, the disciples could do with some more credible evidence to bolster their religion.

Nobody is saying that kids shouldn't be taught about climate change.

Not too many people deny climate change.

The problem is the "A" in AGW.

That is the crux of the arguement, if the Earth was so finely tuned that man's contribution could cause all this catastrophies we would have perished long ago.

Now that China, India and even Russia an all those other countries that are in the black books with the romans now that they are going through the industrial revolution now is the time to present AGW ETS and carbon taxes.

What hipocrites why dont they pay up for all the damage they have caused to the Earth?

Not to mention all the atomic and nuclear testing even right here in our own back yard.

How many atomic and nuclear tests were done in the NT, no wonder the sun stings on your skin and we have the highest rate of skin cancer in the world its because they bloody well blew a hole in our ozone layer.

Climate change has been on the Earth from day zip and will be with us all until the Earth ceases to exist.

To suggest that global warming is because of AGW is malarkey at best, we may have some small role but there is many more times natural CO2 being kicked up into our atmosphere than we could ever hope to produce at our current rate.

Lets face it the carbon tax is the first world tax for the new world order and Julia Gillard has sold us into financial slavery.

Instead of fixing the problem right here at home we have been tied to some ponsy scheme that will suck billions of tax payer dollars to overseas institutions.

Try starting with "Weather Makers Re-examined" by D Weston Allen.
In the book tim "i own a beach house" flannery is shown to be nothing more than a liar and a joke.

 

So, you post that his book is "full of errors" - but you cannot give us a single example.

I have not even read Flannery's "Weathermakers" - though I have read other books by Flannery. I was curious to see what these "errors" were.
