It's all been proven, have you lived under a rock your whole life?
Also prove they are innocent. You can't.
Again comparing a war to abortion is completely dishonest, moving goalposts, everything you cry about. You are the squirmer and dishonest one you claim me to be. Your desperation is thick

What was the Right's reaction to gun ownership after 20 kindergartners were killed at Newtown?

What is the Right's reaction to WOMB ownership for a woman who wants to have one abortion?

Did the Supreme Court not rule in Roe v Wade that it IS a privacy issue?

Are we talking about what SCOTUS unconstitutionally ruled? No we are talking about the abortion debate. It is not about privacy it is about human life. Now pro-choice will cry privacy and cite SCOTUS as you have to distract from the real issue, which is the unborn human life and the life of the woman. almost 100% of abortions end in death and sometimes more then one. 650 women die form pregnancy each year in the USA. Also a vast majority of pregnancies are uncomplicated and the women go on to have a safe delivery.
    http://www.womens-health-advice.com/pregnancy-complications/
I support abortion when the mother's life is in danger, the unborn is in danger, or if the unborn is already dead. My reasoning is 1 life is better then 2 and saving lives is what I support. People can argue that abortions are going down (states with the most restrictions tend to have higher drops)and that banning abortion in most cases will not reduce abortions(even though abortion numbers doubled in a 7 year period after abortion became legal and are dropping in states where there are tougher laws)
http://www.citizenlink.com/2012/12/21/abortion-statistics/- notice the drops are attributed to California and a couple other states not reporting data. add the some 250,000 a year in California alone and you see no drop at all.
http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/statesabrate.html- also note that California's data is significantly under reported, which is why it appears to be so low

And Roe v. Wade is relevant to the abortion debate. Since you are now a constitutional expert as well as a biology expert, how is the Roe decision unconstitutional?

Only in your mind, because you refuse to acknowledge that a woman has the right to her own reproductive and health care decisions, bodily autonomy, and self determination, all of which fall under the umbrella of privacy. Forcing a woman to give birth against her will is unconstitutional reproductive slavery.

It is very rare for abortion to end in the death of a person, unless it is illegal. Just because the maternal death rate is relatively low, that doesn't make it right to force a woman to bear a child and risk death or serious complications and permanent body damage.

Ironically, your goal has not been realized by criminalizing abortion. Those countries with highly restrictive abortion laws have both higher abortion rates AND higher maternal death rates than countries with legal abortion.

No records were kept of illegal abortions, so you can't claim abortions doubled after legalization. There is evidence of no significant change in numbers. Don't fool yourself, if abortions are dropping where laws are tougher, it's because women have traveled to other states for abortions.

Because the 14th amendment has nothing to do with privacy. SCOTUS is supposed to interpret the constitution and apply it to law, not create a whole new amendment which is what SCOTUS did in 1973. The only reason it is not overturned yet, is because SCOTUS is reluctant to admit they are wrong and Americans do not understand what constitutional interpretation is supposed to be. The job of SCOTUS is nto to interpret the constitution to their opinion, it is to interpret it how it was meant. 14th amendment was designed to ensure all laws apply to all people regardless of race and color of origin. A reconstruction amendment to protect ex slaves and immigrants. Nothing to do with privacy at all, let alone abortion. The due process has to do with being accused of a crime in the 5th amendment, the 14th piggy backs off of that. Throwing in life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, just reiterates what every amendment says
Only in your mind have I failed to acknowledge, keep misrepresenting me for your own gain is pointless. Now when you want to be honest let me know
Actually it is very rare for the woman to die period legal, or illegal. 24 legal deaths and 39 illegal in 1972.
Just because the woman has the right to make medical decisions, does not mean she should have the right to terminate another humans life.
Comparing pregnancy to slavery is dishonest and desperate.
Comparing apples to oranges is also pointless. comparing developing and under developed countries in terms of economy and medical advancement to the USA is dishonest
I can claim it, because I showed the numbers.
Great so you admit that restrictions do prevent abortions in those states. So making it across the board will lower numbers.

You answered nothing. I just proved it. You are admitting you don't know what "I think not" means. Hilarious.
    Also, you said
"You are the one who states (wrongly) that a fetus is an "innocent" not me"
Refer to your Mr. Dictionary post and tell us what you meant since you brought it up.
A fetus is innocent. If I am wrong as you say, then you should have no problem explaining what the fetus is guilty of. If you start quoting grammar or dictionary definitions to avoid answering questions any further I will claim victory and you will be ignored. You are starting to waste my time with your dodging of questions.

A pregnant woman is innocent as well. Or do you think she is guilty of something?

What does either's supposed innocence or guilt have to do with anything?

The woman is not sentenced to death for being pregnant, the unborn is when aborted

She is not innocent. She is guilty of making poor choices like engaging in adult acts without being prepared for the consequences of the act. What did the fetus do to deserve to be killed? She is the one who made the choice to have sex. No one else. She did that knowing it could lead to pregnancy.
As far as guilt or innocence go back and read the thread. A poster said I wrongfully stated that a fetus was an innocent. Since my comment that a fetus is innocent is wrong, then by default you must know what it is guilty of.

Since when is having sex illegal?

    - - - Updated - - -

Still not sure what this has to do with innocence and guilt or why those two things even remotely matter in this issue.

Having sex is irresponsible? That's quite the blanket statement to make.

    To answer your question:
When you are paid for it
    When you are under age
When you force someone to have it with you against their will
    To answer your strawman:
I never said she committed a crime. I said very clearly she is guilty of making poor choices. If she isn't mentally mature enough for a child then she isn't mentally mature enough for sex.

    - - - Updated - - -

No having sex if you are not prepared for the consequences is. Does that tuck the blanket in a little?

Goes back to the whole what crime did the unborn commit that is deserving of death? no crime was committed.
The tragedy is when a woman decides to have an abortion. I realize there are lots of reasons for this. The fact that a lot of women feel that abortion is the only answer, the only way out, is a tragedy too. Also women that feel abortion will somehow make their life better, or automatically believe having a baby will make their life worse off. Also a tragedy.
Is the woman guilty of a crime when she has an abortion? Depends on when the abortion takes place and what state she is in. North Dakota it is illegal after 6 weeks, well was until a couple months ago. I got a feeling this case will wind up in the supreme court.

Who here has ever claimed the fetus committed a crime anyways?

    No.

The right to privacy is an unenumerated right. Or do you argue it doesn't exist?

Again, there is no way of knowing how many illegal abortions were performed before Roe. They were not recorded.

That's true. She can terminate an embryo/fetus though.

Exactly what do YOU call forcing someone to use her body against his will?

Both Chile and Columbia have strict abortion restrictions and high abortion rates. Both were ranked higher in overall health care than the US by the World Health Organization. It isn't that these countries don't have medical facilities; it's that abortion laws prevent women from seeking medical care.

Restrictions prevent safe legal abortions, but illegal dangerous abortions are then increased. If fewer abortions are reported in one state, but cause more to be reported in surrounding states, what have you gained?

Who exactly are we talking about here? All women or only one particular woman? You keep saying she/her. Do you have a name to go with who you are speaking of? Or are you just generalizing that all women who seek abortion are 'guilty of having irresponsible sex'?

What makes you think every woman seeking an abortion wasn't prepared for the consequences? Plenty of women have already thought of what they are going to do if they get pregnant from the sex they are having. I know I certainly have.

It does if a fetus is unable to ask questions.

Uhh gee, the fact that they are seeking an abortion proves they weren't prepared. Yeah thats called being irresponsible. You are putting your selfish needs of having sex above killing an innocent fetus.
Why don't you tell us what you are going to do if you get pregnant?

Only proves they are not prepared to be parents, not that they were not ready for sex though.

Actually, abortion is a very responsible choice to make in a situation where you are not prepared to be a parent or do not want to remain pregnant.

Sounds like a lot of opinion laced with emotional fallacy to me.

Everything we do is inherently selfish. Name me one reason why people choose to have children that is not a selfish one. Good luck!

I don't think it's really any of your business.

I said "Did the fetus ask to be created only to be murdered? I think not"
you said "Did the fetus ask to be created only to be murdered? I think not" = personification of the fetus. It's a very common pro-life tactic.

If the fetus was able to ask questions then personification would be true. I clearly said "I think not" which indicated the opposite. Admit you made a mistake and didn't see those three words and move on. You are simply wrong. Its right above in black and white for all to see.
The fetus is an innocent life no matter which way you slice and dice it...literally in your cases.

It doesn't matter what you say you meant. You created an image of a fetus talking which is personification.
