Um........... we have a poor economy? We're about to become the 12th largest economy. Australians have never earnt so much, had so much left over money, owned so much stuff, owned bigger houses, etc.

To start of, Rinehart doesn't give a brass tack about Australia, just the money she can make by raping us and our land.

A trust fund was set up for her children, she has been trying to change the expiry date when the children can collect their money.

Now she was accused of denying them access to what is rightfully thiers, he reason was that she would have to pay more tax on the money. Oh dear, we wouldn't want the richest women in the world to pay taxes would we. She would be the most disgusting human and I am ashamed that she is Australian

Anyone rich enough to own an Internet connection isn't in any position to whine about being "poor and oppressed". They should go live in Sudan or North Korea for a day, then realize how easy they've got it, it'd help cure their narcissism.

Most people in the 1st world who complain about how "poor" they are are either just too lazy or financially irresponsible to get what they want out of life, so they envy others just for having more money than them - but at the same time they're so sheltered in their own narcissism that they couldn't give a crap about people in India or Sudan who barely have enough just to survive (let alone own luxuries such as a computer), even though they live like kings compared to most people in the 3rd world. It's pretty sad, and shows how greedy they, not the "rich", really are. "Rich" is a relative term anyway.

 

Go to my profile and click on my posts, I have never complained of working, and I have worked very hard sometimes, I am after all, a country boy who grew up back in the 50's. I am complaining that she is saying we should do our share, while she openly admits she does not want to do her share.
I am certain also that the taxes she doesn't pay, far exceed anything I have ever earn't.

Something just doesn't make sense with this woman's recent behavior. She has 30 billion dollar in her bank account and now she is screaming that she wants to turn Australians into slaves like Africans!

Why would she all of a sudden want to be the most hated person in Australia with comments like that? Why doesn't she shut the hell up and just enjoy her money? Is she trying to make rich people hated so people start demanding some sort of Communist crapolla in Australia?

She's an idiot. For decades whenever she has opened her mouth she has turned people against her. She doesn't know how to not come across as an evil, greedy (*)(*)(*)(*)(*).

Her father set up a trust for them and Rose.

Over the years Rinehart has managed to get Rose's share reduced to 0%. She has also moved things out of the trust into her own businesses and made it so her children won't be able to access the fund until they're in their 90s.

Why?

Because something like 1/4 of her wealth comes from the fund and the money it makes. That money is then used in her businesses. She doesn't want to part with that and so she's (*)(*)(*)(*)ing her own children over just to make herself richer.

3 of her 4 children have taken her to court to get access to their trust fund and she's called them all sorts of things, like lazy and entitled. She's also gone to court and got gag orders against her children meaning they can't say anything negative about her, which apparently makes it quite hard to fight someone in court when you're not allowed to say anything negative about her to your own lawyers!

 

No one winged about being poor, or not being rich, everyone is having a go at this nincompoop who thinks she is doing it tough because no one will work for 2 bucks a day, whilst attaining the status of being the worlds richest woman. Your statement is such a paradox. It is people who work their guts out for a lifetime who most likely complain. The lazy don't whine, they know their lot and are quite happy with it. On the whole I think it is safe to say that the wealthy aren't worshipped in our society and is a healthy way to be. Just because your job pays more than mine doesn't mean you are more important. For goodness sake we are all human beings. Keep Australia as Australia not a mini USA!!
