Looking at local comparisons, this is an incorporated town to the south (5 miles as the crow flies) with almost double the median income. It is not gentrified or new but consists mostly of moderate houses built in the 30s to 50s.

    Hispanic/Latino: 1.6%
    White*: 95.7%
    Black*: 0.8%
    Native American*: 0%
    Asian*: 0.8%
    Hawaiian/Pacific Islander*: 0%
    Other*: 0%
    Multiracial*: 0.9%

Are you insane or something? Where is the evidence supporting a correlation between zip code and the propensity to be hypocritical about racism? Now I've heard it all. The litmus test for racism is your zip code.

Jesus tap dancing Christ. I can't believe people, including mods, actually dignified this drivel with a response.

So if you're born and raised in a predominantly white area, and want to remain true to your roots and raise a family near your children's grandparents, you forfeit the right to chastise and criticise others for manifest racism?

    Again, what are you on?

Guess we don't have to check the racial mix of your zip code since we can see you live in lily-white Australia.

Ever touched a black person?

Not me. I have a black boss... and black neighbors. Bet it'd be an traumatic experience for our friends who live on ivory towers though. You know, like something they've only read about on forums like this one?

If you consider Aborigines black then yes, actually I have. We also have a huge Polynesian and Kiwi population. In fact, in high school, practically all of my friends were either Samoan, Fijian or Kiwi. It's ridiculous to suggest you can't criticise other's manifestly racist views unless you live in a primarily black/non-white region. Absolutely ridiculous.

Yes, we've all heard how your native Australians are treated. Still say those who choose to live in lily white places have no right accusing those who live in mixed communities of being RACISTS... actions speak much louder than words.
