I will if you say I can sue them if they refuse to work at my event. We know Christians can be sued for upwards of 130K. Seems lucrative.

Anyone can be sued. If you are confident in your understanding of the law, maybe you will collect some money. You do not need my permission. Go for it.

    design de·sign /dəˈzīn/

: to plan and make decisions about (something that is being built or created)
: to create the plans, drawings, etc., that show how (something) will be made
: to plan and make (something) for a specific use or purpose
: to think of (something, such as a plan) : to plan (something) in your mind

Nature doesn't have intentions, have purpose, or make plans. Nature doesn't make decisions ... it doesn't have a mind in which to make them.

I used to worry a lot about whether my homosexuality was 'normal' when I was a teen, but I matured past the shallowness of the question. My prefrontal lobe was fully formed by age 24 and any search for normalcy was doomed to wither.

When will we, collectively do, what I managed 27 years ago? We can't live in adolescence forever.

As I wrote before, the gay's are going to lose and this thread is proof the tide has turned. Not long ago I was banned for 3 days for stating homosexuality was abnormal in a heterosexual species, and now there is an entire thread on the very subject. The liberal moderators have not shut this thread down, certainly nobody has been banned. What was not allowed a few months ago is now openly discussed - the abnormality of LGBT.

    That comment is specious.

Homosexuality is NOT defined as being "abnormal".

What would be accurate, would be to say that it is YOUR OPINION that homosexuality is abnormal. However, science to this point has concluded something that conflicts with YOUR OPINION. And you cannot blame gays and others for essentially knowing you are wrong. Your view WILL be perpetually challenged, because most people know better than you are suggesting.

And... gay people are homo sapiens. They way human beings reproduce biologically is the same. There is nothing abnormal about the way homosexual human beings are reproduced. And the sexual-orientation of a human being does not define them as being normal/abnormal.

Open and honest discussion isn't a sign of reversing civil rights expansion.

Why are you so concerned about people being homosexual? It is so serious with you that you actually believe there is a conspiracy of homosexuals out to...I don't know what, but it isn't good.

Does the thought to mind your own business ever cross your mind?

Of course it is not normal...... to you. Just like me engaging and being in heterosexual activities are not normal to me. Maybe we need to take out of the equation the sex aspect and realize that is what you are focusing on. Of course homosexuality is not normal to you. It never will be because you don't engage in the activity.

Well, that is genuinely insulting to someone that is autistic. I have several friends & family member that are autistic and they are normal to me. I see no flaws with them. They are just wired a little differently and it is proven that it is nuerodevelopmental disorder. One of which you have a poor grasp of.

Why are you word souping on this subject? Why are you so hung up on what gays and bisexuals do in their bedrooms? Who you love and sleep with should be deeply personal and now you are making it something else. Why are you so concerned about the urges of others?

It has lost credibility? Really. I don't know. Sodomy laws have been overturned (Lawrence versus Texas), Don't Ask, Don't Tell has been repealed (Congressional act, signed by the president), hate crimes prosecution based on race or sexual orientation is now the law of the land (Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr Hate Crimes Prevention Act passed by Congress and signed by the president), and now same sex marriage is the law of the land. If the LGBT movement has lost it's credence, where has the loss occurred?

Design (noun) - an outline, sketch, or plan, as of the form and structure of a work of art, an edifice, or a machine to be executed or constructed.

A Ferrari has a design - even if it just "popped into existence" or "always existed" it still has a design.

It doesn't need to make them when they're inherent in its design. A Ferrari doesn't "decide" to go fast when you step on the gas petal, it simply does.

What you seem to be espousing is nihilism, but I doubt you really believe that, because I highly doubt that if Iranian culture decides that gays should be stoned that this becomes "normal" by any real standard, simply because a group of people "decided" so.

    Nope I'm about objectively.

I'd say that people who are homosexual shouldn't be degraded for being something they have no control over but that's not the same as saying that the condition or the factors that cause the condition are normal.

So facts and information doesn't matter, just what "offends people"? So medical professionals should just "shut up"? This proves my point.

Right, it's considered a developmental disorder - that's the point. Saying that autistics are "inferior" as individuals isn't the same as talking about the condition itself and what causes it, or whether it develops normally or abnormally, etc

I'm not - I don't care what gay couples do - I was talking about the condition.

No one likes militant activists; even people who are accepting of same sex marriage are tired of political correctness; the Chick Fil A dilemma is a perfect example.

When just a few months ago "open and honest" discussion meant being banned if a person uttered the "wrong" open and honest opinion, but today a thread on that same "wrong" opinion is thriving, that signifies a change. Previously, people who did not endorse the gay lifestyle were targeted for attack and removal from the public square (or worse), now people openly question the entire LGBT life choice. The LGBT activists no longer have the power to ostracize and intimidate. The tide has turned, and turned significantly.

LOL, quite a change from a short time ago when on this forum the gays directly ridiculed people who opposed in any way the gay lifestyle, gays wrote that religion was backwards and the new attitude would roll over the "old white men".

Now you retreat into an argument from 20 years ago when the gay activists were first starting their conquest - gays just want to get along, live and let live, and only tin-foil hat conspiracy fools think gays have any hateful or vengeful thought.

The LGBT activists have revealed their goals, it cannot be hidden now. After obergefell if the gays had declared equality and had honored their promise to live and let live, it would be different. But they did not, they kept going with attacks on churches and religion and school bathrooms and other craziness - exactly as the "tin foil" people predicted. You should have stopped while you were ahead. Exactly as I wrote a few months ago.

... a Ferrari has a design, because a human being planned, sketched and outlined how it was to be machined, executed, and constructed. If something popped into existence or always existed, no one would have provided a sketch, outline, or plan for it's construction and the Ferrari company could not claim to have designed it.

There are many intricate systems in the universe that were not designed. Human beings are one example.

Homo Sapiens are a heterosexual species, by definition homosexual humans are abnormal. By the theory of evolution, in a heterosexual species homosexuals are abnormal individuals and a detriment to the species survival since they do not contribute to the reproduction of the species but do consume resources. Its basic science.

Science, sociology, history, are not on your side. The only reason humans accept homosexuals is because of the human intellect. Humans can shape their environment to incorporate abnormality, and will do so but only up to a point - when the cost of accepting an abnormality becomes too high then the acceptance will very quickly evaporate. Its already started to shift.

Blah... Blah... Yada... etc. (Think/believe whatever suits you. Going around with YOU or anyone else on these semantics, is ultimately futile.)

As for me, the bottom line is this:

Anyone out here trying (rather intently) to label gay people as "abnormal"... is someone I'll be ready/on guard to protect myself and others against, in whatever ways I must (legally, politically, philosophically or physically).

In the end, we're ALL human. There is nothing wrong with treating people the way you likely wish to be treated yourself.

You missed the entire issue. Does the trait have an impact on the survival of the species, or does it have a negative cost to the species?

Do red heads negatively impact a species? Probably not unless it makes them more visible to predators which is not an issue with humanity.

How about left handedness? Irrelevant to the survival of the species.

High intelligence? Definitely beneficial, intelligence gives an advantage in the natural selection process.

How about homosexuality? A major disadvantage as that individual uses resources but contributes nothing to the continuation of the species.

    Amen!!

There are SO MANY awesome things that gay people have to offer in this life, just as anyone else. They are different in some ways, but no more than others. Those with a purpose (usually sinister, in my view) to separate them out as something other than fully human, have caused and are causing a lot of problems and pain in this world. I personally reject efforts to marginalize or paint homosexuals as strange or freakish, deliberately casting a negative shadow upon them. That is wrong, because they are human beings as much as everyone else.

So, while people can argue over the words... I and many others will be focused upon how people are treated, especially under the law (rights, equal protections etc.). Yes, play around with semantics if you wish... but beware screwing with or mistreating PEOPLE.

Considering the issues with population on this planet... you're largely headed to NOWHERE, with that approach. It's very unlikely that survival of the species will ever be threatened by homosexuals and homosexual behavior.

I saw nothing in his post to even give a hint of that.
How many gays have killed someone because they are straight? You hinting that gays haven't been or are not killed today for the way they were born?

Yep. Science largely defines homosexuality as normal. The rest of the opinions out here, are for people to deal with in themselves.

Except that is not consistent with what evolutionary biologists say about childless adults. In many ways childless adults do contribute to a thriving community which facilitates to its competitive advantage. They are often caretakers of the injured, the ill, they adopt orphans and supply a labor force unencumbered by their own parental obligations. Whether ones contribution outweighs his consumption, is not just about producing kids, but providing labor and its benefits for the group.

You need to focus on lazy childless people, not childless people.

Redhead, lefthanded, albino, there are 1000s of traits people have that aren't in the majority, or as you seem to want to call it, 'normal'.

True, and that's where the gays failed. Instead of going for equality and fairness, they went for revenge and intolerance. The LGBT crowd showed their true ideology of hatred, its too late to pretend they just want to live and let live now. The gays portrayed themselves as the innocent victim, they were really the wolf in sheeps clothing. The wolf came out, nobody is fooled any longer.

Your attitude is another sign that the tide has turned. You went from condescension and ridicule and intolerance of people who did not endorse the gay lifestyle, you went from an "up yours we won" attitude, to now being "ready/on guard". That's too bad but its your own fault. Maybe next time - if there is a next time - you will treat people the way you wish to be treated.
