Indeed it is. 95% of the people that voted for Obama (not just blacks) did so simply because he was black, thats racism no matter how you slice it.

god knows they didn't vote for him on his qualifications, and being as this board is overran with *******s then it stands to reason its full of racists as well.

...as far as foreigners they are definately racist bastards who only like to pretend they are not.

well, there's a few rather vehement anti-semites and at least one warped hitler lover and holocaust denier running around here. the hitler lover uses the term "****" and actually believes in the blood libel. the anti-semites seem to c&p from stormfront and other self proclaimed racist/bigot sites.

I do make a clear distinction between anti-zionists and anti-semites. As one example, moon is a vehement anti-zionist but not an anti-semite, where as Jack Napier is a vehement anti-semite trying to make himself out to be merely an anti-zionist with ludicrous denials that simply reinforce his hatred.

these days the term racism seems to have been bastardized to include bigotry.

Why on earth do I have to prove anything to you?.I have observed racism and bigotry expressed here on these boards, and I am fine with confronting it when I feel like it.

I think that when people get on these forums they feel safe to say absurd things because their are not consequences. They can sound very knowledgeable and tought when in real life they are just like the rest of us. Remember normal is a function of who you are standing next to when the comparation is made.

They all deserve equal access to the ecconomy and the freedom to associate with whomever they will, and equal protection under the law. To say that a racial group is not capable of achieving to the same level, and to use that as an excuse to exclude them from mainstream society, thus ensuring that they never have a chance to prove you wrong, is to be less than a decent human being.

No. You just stay the hell out of the way of people who are trying to advance themselves legally.

No. We voted for him because he has more brains than the dithering old fool and the bubble-brained bimbo he was running against.

Wrong. We like people who can work their way to the top without marrrying money or sponging off a rich daddy. You don't get to be President of Harvard Law Review just cause people think it is cool to have a black guy there. That takes more brains than any of the latest crop of teatards in congress have ever shown.

The worst kind of racists are the libs who accuse those who are critical of social programs and for voting IDs of being racist.

Once again I see differing levels of attempted defense, and it really makes me wonder.

OK, how about I make this simple. There are plenty examples in here of individuals calling for groups to be put to death. Is that simple enough? Others say that other groups should be killed indiscriminantly simply because of their religion, is that simple enough? And it is hard to find many threads in here about the Middle East without finding people expressing the belief that nukes should be used and the region turned into a parking lot. Is that simple enough?

Look, I believe in free speech. I also believe in calling a spade a spade. If somebody halds the opinion that "XXX group should be destroyed", then I should have the right to name that person a racist. I am not asking for his voice to be silenced, simply pointing out who and what they are so others are aware of it.

Very true, what I found interesting from reading post on here is it seems that this website link has been put up on a few Neo Nazi websites/blogs trying to attract more of them here, which would explain the vast number of them on here. Something called the stormfront here is a link to that website: http://www.stormfront.org/forum/

And this is exactly the kind of thing I am talking about.

For some reason, certain kinds of bigotry and racism are allowed, when they are disguised properly. "Zionist" is one of those, and a rather interesting one. Constantly in here I find the use of "Zionist" and "Jew" are the exact same. I have yet to find somebody who preaches agaisnt "Zionism" who also believes that Jews should have equal rights to thing. They just hide their hate in words that are for some reason acceptable.

And yea, I have heard the denials. But so far when I scratch the surface of every "Anti-Zionist", under that I find a holocaust denying, "Jewish Conspiracy" believing, "march them all into the sea", Hitler loving Anti-Semite hiding under the PC language. And I have seen this for all groups. A lot of racists hide behind "Anti Muslim" claims, yet a lot of their posts seem to attack all muslims equally, and do not care if they seperate the bad guys from the innocent. They just want to see them all dead.

And this is sad to see also. I wish that one thing that was not enabled is the "dislike" button. If you like a post, feel free to show your support. But with the advent of "dislike", I many times now have seen how people who want to silence others use it as a bludgeon.

Myself, I find it funny. When some racist or fool puts a "dislike" on me, I wear it as a badge of honor. After all, that is not any kind of individual that I would ever want to have my ideals and beliefs identified with, so being disliked by that type of person breaks my heart about as much as being told by Hitler that he did not like me.

Why do you assume Obama got that position because he is black? Would you assume everyone who is black and got to that position got there because he was black? That's pretty racist...

    Because he's stupid.

And that stupidity is on display at all times.

There is no other reason for it other than white guilt/racism.

    Simple matter really.

That is something totally different. That is not "Racism", that is "The Race Card".

Look, I have issues with President Obama. He has done some things I agree with, and some things I disagree with. But none of my disagreements have anything to do with him personally, either as race or religion or anything else. And it does bug me when people throw that around simply because of a disagreement.

However, you will also never find me speaking disrespectfully of him, or any other President. I may politically hate the guts of Senator So-And-So, but I will also defend them if somebody attacks them based purely on their race-religion-background-ethnicity. The yappy dogs who play the "Race Card" are generally not worth bothering with.

I got into a discussion with one, who tried that on me. I asked her who the last Republican she ever voted for for anything was, and she said she never has and never would vote for a Republican. I then told her then how could she construe my disagreement with a policy based on race, when I rarely (but have occasionally) vote for Democrats? Is it not more likely my disagreement on the issue was based on ideology, and not race?

But like Racists, Race Card Players often have a failure at logic. "If you do not agree with the {PICK MINORITY}, you must be a racist."

And I absolutely love it when that logic is used against me when it comes to immigration issues.

This is another danger, because a huge number of these "Nut Jobs" are not really Right Wing.

If you scratch at them, you will actually find that the majority of them are Libertarians. And that is a political philosophy that embraces both sides of the Left-Right Wing argument. Ron Paul and Jessie Ventura are both Libertarians, but generally move in opposite political circles. One is Left Wing Libertarian, the other is Right Wing Libertarian. I generally consider a large percentage of Libertarians to be nutcases, since their beliefs are generally skewed all over the place.

And plenty of those "nut-jobs" are very Liberal. Go to any "Occupy" location, and you will see the Left Wing Anti-Semites crawling all over the place.

How does that work? If all we wanted was a black guy with a black aggenda, Jesse Jackson would have been president long before Bush the Lesser.

Defglection my wrinkly old butt. Bush the Lesser did some relly vile and stupid things, and people on the right called him a genius.

And that is pretty much why I started it.

I had finished responding in 5 threads in a row to people who were speaking very obvious Anti-Semitic/Anti-Islamic views, and it really bothered me. And it seems like whenever there is one of those, they all swarm together, egging each other on and saying why they are all so wonderful.

Me, I try to inject facts many times, to try and keep the more innocent people from possibly believing their nonsense. Then other times, I openly ridicule them (I have several pictures I love, among them the "Hitler Seal of Approval" and "Heil Kitty" ones). And I think what disturbs me here now that I am catching up to a day of messages is the number of deletions.

I don't think I have ever seen this many deletions in a thread, ever. It absolutely blows my mind. And I am pretty glad that I did not read what was deleted, since I know it takes a lot for that to happen here.

Pretty much all I ever ask for in a debate (and yes, I love to debate, but hate to argue) is just that people stick to the facts, and leave everything else outside. If their only real reason is "I hate XXX", then it is rather pointless. It is like debating with a 3 year old.

    "I want a cookie!"
"Dinner is in 15 minutes, you can't have a cookie."
    "I want a cookie!!"
"Then you will not eat all of your dinner, you can have a cookie afterwards."
    "I WANT A COOKIE!"

If I enjoyed arguing with 3 year olds so much, I would have had more kids.
