Israel is 22,415 square kilometer, about 420 km long by 115 wide. It is economic to build a missile defense for such a small area, especially if you have a really rich uncle (or at least one willing to put it on his credit card).

Ukraine is 233,062 square km, about 1300 km long by 400 km wide. It is much more expensive to build a missile defense for such a large area.

The US is 9,833,520 square km.

Also, there is another economic problem, since interceptor missiles are much more expensive than drones and air to ground missiles. So every successful intercept is an economic loss.

It would help of Republicans could find a reasonable presidential candidate such that Biden could not sustain his aid in genocide.
