I have already condemned the disregard, with which bombs have been dropped on civilians, both from a moral/humanitarian perspective, as well as a practical one, in that this attitude will only cripple Israel's efforts to finally become a welcome nation, in the region (on the path set by the Abraham Accords), severely damage the reputation of the U.S., and inspire greater, not less, terrorism. Unfortunately, the best solution is far from always the most achievable. There are many security considerations at play, here, beyond the welfare of the Palestinians. Again, I personally feel that we should have exercised greater leverage, but I am not privy to what has gone on, behind the scenes.

President Biden has known Netanyahu for decades, and he has shown, with Ukraine, that he is adept, on the international stage. So I am willing to accept that Biden has been taking the course he's felt was most efficacious. I think we have helped to get some aid to the Palestinian civilians; hopefully, we will be able to increase that. But maybe more importantly to the big picture, we have maintained our position of influence for the determination of Gaza's future.

It is easy to say that Biden should have pulled harder in Netanyahu's leash-- but there is no guarantee that this would have been effective; Bibi is working for his political survival, with currently an 18% approval rating. While he may not survive in power, we will remain prominent in the Israeli public's mind as a friend, and so our further efforts to get justice for all Palestinians, which is what Biden has spoken about happening, will maintain credibility. But we had no magic wand, to control Israel's actions. And the U.S. public is largely supportive of Israel, after Hamas's unjustifiable attack. You can only work with the circumstances you've got, to try for the best achievable, if far from perfect, outcome.

The death toll the Jewish state got going against civilians is FAR and FAR higher already compared to all the civilian lives the Russians killed in all of 2022. The idea that "but we gave a warning" is just Zionistic propaganda.
