this is true, but it also sounds like some Israeli soldiers are behaving badly - we had American soldiers behave badly in the middle easy too, they need to address that or it looks bad on them, same as we addressed our soldiers that behaved badly

they desperately want peace. Most of the world wants peace. Israel said no peace. The UN tried to mandate a ceasefire. The USA shot it down.
Right now it is the USA and Israel that is blocking any possibility of a peaceful resolution to this.

which means more than half the population has grown up being taught the virtues of terrorist doctrine.

And Just to be clear, you are predicting 2.3 million Palestinian deaths from this conflict, correct?

The israelis have a habit of assassinating journalists that actually do journalism. At least I've been to israel a couple of times, have you? (and I don't want to go back to that shithole ever again)

Yeah sure more than half of the population weren't alive 15 years ago.

    Try using logical thought sometime.

If they're deliberately slaughtering anyone living in Gaza they're not very good at it.

    I didn't miss anything.

It's like saying half the people in this country couldn't have voted for Obama because they didn't exist.

    What a laugh.

Wrong. Israel fights in adherence to the rules of war. Those rules state that the direct targeting of civilians is not permitted. But, if they are in the way of legitimate targets, they are considered collateral damage. Israel has done everything it can to avoid civilian casualties. Hamas, on the other hand, has taken every opportunity to put their citizens in harms way, either voluntarily, or by force.

Are you saying Gaza is a free society where there can be a normal poll being held without being influenced by Hamas?

Israeli Jews keep on voting in a government that keeps the policy to colonize the state of Palestine. It's a war crime according to the Geneva Conventions. It's unprovoked. The UNSC got a binding resolution demanding the removal of all the Israeli civilians out the state of Palestine. Instead of complying, the Jews choose to commit war crimes, at every election for decades on end. Subsequently they do not have a right to defend themselves. While Palestinians only voted ones like 16 years ago and you are holding the resistance against war crimes against them. Weird.

    It's busy with it.

An outcome that leaves Hamas in power in Gaza is not peace.

I think an arrangement can be worked out like the one we have in Lebanon and Hezbollah. Or the ones in Iraq with the PMU. It is not necessary for Hamas, a resistance militia, to get itself too bogged down worrying about the civil administration in Gaza.;)

Neither is an outcome that leaves tens of thousands of Palestinians dead. That will just cause something even worse than Hamas to emerge. Israel is just increasing their problems exponentially.

So basically, the reporter is reporting hearsay provided by a person who is a Gaza and probavly part of Hamas. It’s an extreme claim with no actual evidence.

I can only guess why the article seems to be taken down.

Not necessarily. Sometimes, in the aftermath of a devastating war, people are ready for peace. There are examples of this in history.

Hamas does not seek peace. So if we are to have peace, Hamas must be dismantled completely. After that, Israel needs to handle the next months and years in a way that can give birth to a lasting peace. That will be their challenge.

Israel has had nothing to do with it's internal affairs since the 80's.

There is no state of Palestine. There would have been had they not rejected it at least 5 times.

What's a war crime? What was unprovoked?

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

No. They are trained medical staff for such situations who said it. That's not hearing it from some unanimous source. You're free to show where Israel denies this.

    Exactly.

Look at how this all began in the late 40's. Every Muslim country in the region joining forces multiple times to destroy Israel.

Doesn't seem Egypt, Jordan, Syria and other surrounding governments want to get their asses kicked by Israel again.

Now we're just down to the die hards that are going to die hard.
