Oh come the (*)(*)(*)(*) on? Are you just a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiot? It's obvious Batman would beat Spiderman, I mean he beat Darkseid. Darkseid is approximately equal in power to Superman, who easily outclasses Spiderman, obviously Batman wins over Spiderman.

The gospels are eyewitness accounts. The life of Christ is the fullfilment of Old Testament prophecy. Is that evisence enough for you?

According what I've been told - the Gospels were written several decades after the events - its authenticy is also in doubt , due to te many inconsistencies and contradictions.

I'd be glad to consider any reliable information by can provide , i.e. the eye -witness who proved Jesus to be the son of a god . THere are many things about Jesus / life that might have impressed -many in the past - but some of us have more time today to reflect + examine the validity of what we've told to believe. While , a character like Jesus existed, the stories about him sounds ridiculously childish.

PLs go back and check the exact word s of my posts. Thank you.

Does that mean you've got no rational explanation to support your previous ridiculous statement about Jesus being Son of a god ?

If only we could get Christians to actually follow the teachings of Christ. Just as many innocents have been murdered by Christians than Muslims.

Histories of the revolution were written long after the events recorded. Does that make them less accurate? The authenticity of the Biblical accounts are only in doubt by those who disbelieve, for the express reasons of their disbelief, not because they seek truth, nor are they seeking to refect on the truth od the events of Jesus life. The continuity between the Old and New Testaments are many and from many places. The testimony of this continuity and the testimony of those who witnessed the life of Christ and their recolection of his mighty deeds stand for themselves and for all time. Being impressed is not as valid as being convinced that God and his word are true and beyond contoversy. I have engaged in conversation at present on what you say, not a research project of what you said.

    Thank you.

I disagree - Christians are top of list. It was'nt Muslims who gassed and roast 6 million Jews.

Was'nt it with the Pope's blessing that the Cruders slaughtered untold numbers of Jews + Muslims - in Andalucia/Spain -(Forced conversions to Christianity ?) + In the " Holy Land " ? not counting Christian kill scores in North + South Americas , and other atrocities ?

IMO - Muslims/Hindus + other's rate well behind so-called " Christians" when it comes to killing other humans .

Nazi's were Christians? Thats a laugh, though widely spread, its a notion that is wholly false. They were occultists, and references to God were superfluous and not intended to reflect belief, but mockery, to justify their policy of murder and racial purification. Islam is no different, using God as an excuse for their evil murderous religion of hate and intolerance, they have more in common with Nazism than with Christianity.

As I've tried to explain earlier that , the testimonies of the alleged eye-witnesses was written many decades AFTER the events .

Using the word "truth " to try passing off the ridiculous stories about Jesus' life /death./resurrection/ + final .space flight, is ......... , Hmmm - welll , ????

Hmmmmm. I'll Say no more . (wink )

If you choose to believe it to be "true beyond controversy " - thats O K with me , but please dont expect me + some others , to believe Jesus was son of a god etc, etc.

    cheers .

I know thats what you said, I suggest that is not a valid objection and does not indicate thoughtful consideration of the topic. So, in reality, you have no objection to truth, only that truth is the basis of the message to which you have objections, and no explanations or refutations that goes beyond controversy that hold water, so to speak. You push at truth on the soft footing of disbelief, no wonder you'll say no more.

That's a matter of opinion , historical facts prove different but dont let facts get in the way of whatever you'd want to believe :

There are many more but sorry I cant post all the photographic evidence of the church's collaboration with the Nazis and with Mussolini / Spain's Gen.Franco + other unsavoury characters . etc,.etc .

I know that you are ringing a bell, just trying to pick out the tune. The topic is Jesus vs Mohammad. The Nazi comparison is useful as far as their shared world view of intolerance. The Catholic pope being pro-Nazi is irrelevant. But to kick the stone a bit, we the pope pro-Nazi because of Ideology, or convenience. Give it a think. I personally don't care. Papery has always been inclined to be politicised, as is Islam. And true Christianity has nibbled at that bush as well. Though, I would not approve. I like a civil rule of law based on common rights for all. It has served us well for a couple of centuries. So, back on topic then?

The Nazi party was Statist...Not Christian...Hitler was their god. The fact that many germans were catholic is irrelevent. The people who planned thngs out worshipped hitler.

What holds the two together is love. With any loving relationship, there is an element of submission as well as faith in the other party. In fact, Christ submitted to us as he came in human flesh to serve the human race unto his death. I guess part of the problem here is that only I seem to have love for Christ. Trying to splain why then is often lacking. It is a far cry from the picture you present, however.

I do realize that the one party is all knowing, which adds the emphasis to faith. After all, if God knows everything and we do not, then faith must be part of the equation at some point.

Not with the relationship between man and God, love is a factor sure, perceived love, but then there is fear (of death and hell) which really keeps man from his emancipation. Religion tries to quantify the real world... and predicate it as truth for the ages, it says the search is over, the light is there to see and we now have a confirmed purpose.

    Here's some thoughts from Friedrich...

How the real world at last became a myth: The real world - unattainable? Unattained at any rate. And if unattained also unknown. Consequently also no consolation, no redemption, no duty: how could we have duty towards something unknown?

The real world - an idea no longer of any use, not even a duty any longer - an idea grown useless, superfluous, consequently a refuted idea: let us abolish it!

Biblically, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom ,however, it goes on to say that the fear of God is to shun sin because sin is the source of our ills.

It's kinda like smoking. You can tell people till your blue in the face that it is bad for them, but in the end, they usually do not have the will power to stop, even though most want to do so. Granted, there are those who do not wish to quit. Of course, no one is stopping them, are they? You then just sit back and watch them slowly kill themselves. Just know that there is hope because there is help out there for those who wish to change their ways. By our own power we are ususally outmatched.

Rubbish - its only "irrelevent " to those who cant accept it . . Anti-semitism (hatred of Jews )- + Moors, generally classified as "heathens " was rife throughout Christiandom for many centuries BEFORE Adolf and his Nazis. There's very little doubt t that before the Munich Putsch , significant segments of Catholic clergy and faithful in Munich were among the most important supporters of National Socialism, very much in tune with its increasing emphasis on Aryan racial supremacy and its contempt for Jews. But there're also evidence that relationship between Church + SOME Nazis , soured later during WW2, perhap due to the atrocities Nazi perperprated against non-German Catholics , i.e. in Poland, etc.

    History lesson :

From its inception, the Catholic Church propagated anti-Jewish teachings. Christian theology taught that the Jews were infidels who had killed Jesus and rejected the true gospel.

According to church doctrine, an essential requirement for Christian salvation was hatred of the Jews. Christianity also viewed Judaism as an obsolete religion that had been supplanted by the church and its Bible.

Church policies in the Middle Ages separated Jews from the rest of the community, banned intermarriage, and imposed economic restrictions.

Economic laws imposed by the church increased anti-Semitism; because Christians were not allowed to lend money at interest, while Jews were, Christians considered Jews to be evil usurers.

Accusations of blood libel (claims that Jews killed Christian children and used their blood to make unleavened bread) developed out of Christian texts. The Crusades, incited by a speech by Pope Urban II in 1095, led to the massacre of thousands of “infidel” Jews.

Historical fabrication. Statism is the evil of the world, wether it is secular of politicised religion, the creation of enemy is the foundation of tyranny, and statist science is the cement that holds it all together. Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia are perfect examples of that.

Individuals propagated hate not Christianity, as there are many Christians who also step forward to reprimand those who teach hatred against Jews. Islam has always taught hatred the only book that clearly identifies Christians and Jews as enemy of Muslims. No where will you find in the Bible that commands Christians to kill Jews or Moors unlike in the Quran can you find those writings, could it be you are referring to the Quran?

Maybe if you can show me exact passages from the Bible that teaches Christians to hate and kill Jews or Catholic Ecclesiastical doctrines that commands Christians to kill or hate Jews, then I will submit that I am wrong and you are right.
