GENUINE conservatives play a vital role in the balance of power in our nation as a means to ensure that our liberal trend stays on track and within the guidelines of our Constitution.

If this is your perception of the Infantry, then gaining acceptance into it's ranks is likely more difficult than you imagine. Our military is entirely voluntary, it can afford to be choosy.

 

Not if there are not enough volunteers. Standards go down to get volunteers.

There are plenty of volunteers. The Army turns away a surprising number of applicants. Everyone I met in the Infantry requested it.

The only change in standards I worry about is making the PT test easier to accommodate females successfully passing it.

When I joined back in '85 they actually inspected your anus. I saw about 4 guys get rejected outright. That was before "Don't ask, don't tell".
