2nd time, US Generals and Admirals have exceedingly high IQs, and most certainly do their homework. I have worked with some when I was in the DoD business.

I suggest you do your homework; find out the requirements of being a general officer before casting aspersions at them.

 

FYI, in order to become a General or an Admiral, one needs Congressional approval. This issue is about their intelligence levels, which at least now 2 posters don't know.

Sincerely, I'm confused by the opposition to Milley in this thread. He isn't suggesting that CRT be taught in schools, he is suggesting that it is important for members of the military be informed and well read. Why is it so awful that he thinks the military should thoroughly understand the domestic issues today? Should they put their heads in the sand and just jump when told to do so? Frankly, I'm impressed that he wants our military to be well read. What is the problem with that?

From a military POV being well informed is essential and given that their sworn oath is to protect our Constitution from BOTH foreign and DOMESTIC enemies understanding the RACISM inherent in the Domestic Terrorists who attempted an INSURRECTION against the duly elected government of We the People the military has an OBLIGATION to fully understand more about that ENEMY of our nation.

How credible are the leaders of a military that has not managed to win a clear unambiguous final victory through warfare over any enemy in over 75 years of nearly constant warfare that has not benefitted the US in any way.
