MAGA Republicans simply cannot govern

The two party system is NOT part of the "checks and balances" or our Constitution. In fact the notion of "parties" came much later after the Constitution was ratified. IMHO, America would be better served if there were more "parties" or no parties at all were good patriots wanting to serve their nation could run on equal footing.

NOT taking care of business is what's expensive, last time the government shut down because of Republican stubbornness it cost 11 billion dollars. That would pay for a lot of "getting stuff done" and "bipartisan" and, maybe even do some good.

 

I will freely admit that there are some Republican fundamentalists who can’t seem to see that every government shutdown has bitten the party in the butt. Yes, we must curtail spending, but we won’t be able to do that until the Republicans are in control.

I don't think that most Republicans are out to do away with the Democrats. I think that hard core Democrats are out to destroy the opposition. Unfortunately it goes with their radical left views and training. Look at how the DOJ, FBI and CIA are acting.

I am looking at how the DOJ, FBI and CIA are acting and what I see are people doing their job.

The indictments against Trump & Co. are the not the result of a corrupt DOJ/FBI but the result of a corrupt politician being charged for being...well...corrupt.

The documents case in Florida where Trump is charged with violating 18 USC 793(e) is about as open and shut as it can get. He has no viable defense. If you think this is the result of the "weaponization" of the DOJ I would be more than willing to debate what that is not the case.
