Second time I've seen this - 3.4 seconds of lieutenant general Flynn and a hasty cut away. Lol!

I didn't hear him say anything. Too short and too much background noise and I didn't feel like replaying it over and over.

Then your being obtuse. He move the microphone to his mouth and says it.

Now that there is video and audio the right claims “I didn't hear it” ? OK.....careful you don't get sand in your mouth...

    More examples of cult45

These people are enemies of the state and should be treated accordingly

That Republicans have ignored this, often shielded it, shows how complicit they are.

While what Michael Flynn agreed to is a military coup, I will cut him some slack. The audience member is the one who said some treasonous crazy ****. Flynn may have not fully understood the gravity of what he was agreeing to (he never struck me as that bright). On the other hand Flynn has been a big conspiracy theorist from day 1 and certainly has pushed forward QAnon madness early and often.
But a military man in an audience demands a military coup in the US, and the crowd cheers. An ex National Security Adviser agrees to it, and no one says anything?
How dare you guys try to paint yourselves as true patriots!
    That was absolutely revolting

Everybody said that I was being hyperbolic when I said Trump wouldn't go without a fight. Now they're saying he won't run again, or surely he won't try another coup when he loses.

Trump and the Trumpers don't like this country and want to destroy it. They see this as their chance.

Yeh, maybe we should be like Myanmar, didn't they jail the last guy who tried this?

Study Caudillismo, the most important thing to stop it is that you don't let the last ones hang around

LOL ... The 1st thing any would be dictator would do, would be to fortify his stronghold, and vet the troops assigned to defend it for their loyalty to his despotic regime. Like Joe Biden did, and is doing. Hard to verlook (D) push to federally mandate weak election security, and pack the court that will ultimately be the ones to decide if they can. (D)s are trying to preemptively stage a coup of their own.

Yeah, Damn those Democrats for trying to make laws that make it easy and in some cases even possible for every American to vote! The fiends.

Listen to all those "patriots" cheering when the marine suggests it and Flynn agrees. These people don't love their country. They love their partisan version of it, which apparently now includes the violent overthrow of the government using a military sworn to protect it. And all because a raving lunatic spent 6 months stoking people into believing that anything less than his victory in the election would have to be because of fraud. People willing to believe anything and apparently support anything all over allegiance to a personality, because they certainly have no allegiance to their country.

Why not give away voter IDs? Before we do, let's mail out applications to every US household so we know exactly how many votes are being "surpressed" by ID laws.

I have some questions. Where is Minimar? What happened there? The guy said Minimar.

People use language that might be over the top in politics. A person could argue that when they said coup they meant it in a democratic way. Vote these people out of office. I don't think that is what was meant here.

Obviously anybody who calls for a violent coup or a regime change through violence is breaking the law. A clarification is needed and a denouncement of any call to violence.

How many people called for an overthrow of the Trump Presidency from the day after his election until noon on January 20, 2021?

Where was your concern then because you cannot have it both ways? You don't get to be concerned about someone calling for an overthrow of the government (if that is what he said) when it fits your agenda and then ignore the same call when it too fits your agenda. It is called hypocrisy!

    No one.

And certainly not a former national security advisor.

After the election, Trump received relatives in the Oval Office who advised him to institute martial law to stay in office.

How many times has this happened in the history of this country?

Hypocrisy is not where you think.

I disagree slightly and here's why. For all intents and purposes, it becomes more and more clear there is no clear objective within the Republican party. The ONLY thing they stand behind is hating Democrats. It doesn't matter if they have to overlook an insurrection attempt, a twice impeached former POTUS bilking the country's purse leaving behind half a million dead, a disgusting pig that voted against human trafficking laws and may be indicted for the same any day now, overt nepotism, fuzzy relations with dictators, movements toward voter suppression, ditching the one person in the party with the guts not to kiss former-POTUS' posterior and five million other things going on over there.

The ONLY *criteria* is it must be against anything Democrats do or try to do.

What it struck down? Say Democrats are for it. Slam dunk every time.

Those are good points. I shouldn't ignore the influence of spite voting. That happens on both sides, but it's a mainstay of Trumpism. I've seen Trump supporters flat out admit they voted for him, at least partially, because he makes liberals mad.

I like your point about there being no clear objective within the Republican party right now. It's true. Though there is plenty to disagree with when it comes to Democrats, no one can say their party has no objective. Democrats would exist just fine without Republicans, but the Republican party needs the Democrats to get their voters outraged enough to go to the polls. They were ripe for the takeover by personality cultists like Trump and his clones. Gaetz is a great example. He catapulted himself to national prominence by using his exposure to be a common internet troll. That's his brand, the same way that it's Trump's. It's what gets Trump voters cheering, all the way to the polls. But they aren't really voting on anything with substance because it's all just personality politics now.

Wave a flag, come up with some childish nicknames for liberals, and express support for a few wackadoo conspiracy theories and you'll have all the support you want from Trump country.

Sorry, call me skeptical but how many of these cut off videos did we see during the impeachment hearings that where falsified? Once they were played in their entirety showed a completely different story. I don't think most will fall for it but you never know.

Nope, not difficult at all. They live by this...Trump hates the people they hate so it all fits in their heads.

Hasn't there already been a coup? Blatant voting irregularities and the judiciary covers its eyes, ears and mouth.

A coup does not necessarily demand military action.

Special interests and the deep state took control of the government decades ago. That includes AIPAC.
