How have I lost anything? You wrote that no western democracy elects its head of government by popular vote. Now, let's ignore for a moment that this very specific response was to my very anti-specific observation that the electoral college was anti-democratic. So, I listed a bunch of countries in the western hemisphere that did, in fact, elect their heads of government through the popular vote. You countered that it didn't matter that the countries were in the western hemisphere and that they were democratic, but that the countries didn't meet the requirements of a specific meaning of the term "western democracy." In response, I posted proof that the first country on my list was, in fact, a "western democracy" within the meaning you intended. I therefore so no more need to beat this particular horse, and figured our "conversation" on the subject was over.

Now, you don't bother to contend that Argentina isn't in the Western hemisphere or isn't a democracy. You don't even bother to contend that Argentina doesn't fit the definition of a "western democracy." All you do is add one last snide remark hoping to get the last (pathetic) word on the topic. Now, if there is some super secret meaning of "western democracy" that I have not yet considered (e.g. perhaps the Fox News super secret definition of "western democracy" includes that the people comprising the "western democracy" are white and speak English, or some other characteristic I have not considered) let me know. Otherwise, I don't see what is left to discuss.
