Oh gawd ... now that's not only frightening, but disgusting for a 1st lady to act like spoiled brat having a temper tantrum....

Well, like I told my kids - all the $ in the world can't buy class... you either have it or you don't have it.

 

No dinner table etiquette on both of their parts, its shameful to the taxpayer who paid for that meal.

My dad read this book and told me all about it. I really need to borrow it from him. Apparently there are some amazing, crazy and hilarious stories of our many Presidents personal lives and other ridiculous antics in this book all told by current and former members of the Secret Service.

Here is a part of a critics review I found on Amazon that gives a great summary of what's in the book.

 

A couple of (hopefully easy) questions:
A) What does Michelle Obama's table manners have to do with her husband's job performance?
B) Given that Boehner has made very direct attacks against the integrity of her husband (who has support by more of the voters than Boehner does), wouldn't it be hypocritical of Michele Obama to pretend she doesn't dislike the man?
C) Where were these mean-spirited attacks when the Bush sisters were partying like hey were... their dad?

 

Where were the mean-spirited attacks about the Bush twins? Answer: ALL over the mainstream press and media. And remember when Bush was caught stuffing some bread in his mouth at one of these dinners? They went on and on about it for days. Just shows the double standard. Everything Bush or his family did was criticized or highlighted in the press/media. Not so much with this president. And no......even when one doesn't "like" another person, they can at least be sociable and polite at a dinner. It shows grace when one does so. Apparently Michelle has none.

 

And that's the bottom line..... a person w/grace & dignity doesn't react w/eye-rolls and a rude, huffy attitude towards anyone when they're in the position that MO is and at a much publicized event.....

Those dinners are not really for stuffing your face like a chipmunk, they are for socializing. You are there because you are a public figure and most people would act accordingly. She has been in the public eye for 4 plus years, she should have learned some grace if just by observation. No one around her was still eating, they apparently had a clue.

This reminds me of MO appearing on a food show - Paula Dean's, I think. MO ate during the televising of the show and the hostess said she never stopped eating thru-out the break. Said she had never seen any guest act like her.......

Guess the cooks at the WH don't fix her enuf meals.....?
