    Good advice. One night we ate dinner in some old, nondescript joint in the French Quarter and the food was out of this world.

    Ya gotta love how so many of the restaurants in the Quarter have outdoor courtyards to dine and/or drink in, too...

    Hahaha! One time while there...a friend took on a mufaletta challenge at a place. He polished off a double-meat mufaletta and a large plate of fries in under 15 minutes

    I don't know how I'm gonna squeeze any drinks in while I'm there...

    Unless there's any good night spots near the hotel without any off-brand behavior...

    Then you'll definitely want to steer clear of the Hurricanes at Pat's. The last time I was in New Orleans I went there just to drink one and keep the glass as a souvenir. It's a tasty drink, but it kicks like a mule...:psychoitc:

    YEP.. Acme is is great... but just wander down the street.

    Honestly, I don't even like oysters, but, if a challenge presents itself, I'm usually all in...lol

    But, I will def be on the hunt for food galore while I'm there...

    It was done at Central Grocery...nice little place...

    Don't know if they offer any real food challenge (this was done by us as a group of friends)...but they did say they have ever only had 1 person completely finish a double-meat mufaletta...that is until my friend became the 2nd...lol

    (Although he did set a record by becoming the 1st person to finish the double-meat mufaletta and a large plate of fries...lol)
