And did he pay the loan back, and was the loaner made whole and and profited from the deal?

And what you guys run from is, the folks that agreed to the loan at the amount Trump ASKED FOR were made whole plus profit.. I can't believe people don't understand that loaner agreed to the amount asked and was paid back in full and interest..

It boggles the mind.. Clear case of Govrnment involvement, fascism and the let's hatred make it AOK :rock_slayer:

Hardly, but I understand perfectly the reasoning behind it, hatred.. People are willing to chastise Trump for being dishonest but ALL HAIL the fascist politician that target a guy that paid back what he borrowed with interest to a loaner that agreed to the amount..

    lmfao

If the New York attorney general succeeds in doing this, the Democrats will lose. This sends a chilling message that the government can take anything it wants with no due process. You can’t vote for that unless you are a government insider.

The Democrats need to pay for this at the ballot box. Perhaps that will show some of them that they have gone too far. It goes way beyond Donald Trump.

I already did. It isn't my fault that you refuse to look at the evidence before you.

You have not identified people who are filing financial statements showing that their property is worth more than 20 times the assessed value. Or lying about the surface area by tripling the actual surface area.

Yea, one judge decided guilt and then the penalty which was way out of bounds. And you have an AG who was a one issue candidate, “Get Trump!!!” To hell with going after the real criminals who endanger real people.

The things you mentioned are irrelevant under this statute.

It's very common for responders to put up a silly emoji when they have no coherent response.

This was a criminal trial. Trump was not the defendant, the Trump Organization was. Trump Organization was found guilty of counts of FRAUD. That's why they are seizing Trump Org properties.

The only "message " that comes out of this: Don't mess with the law. Just because one inherited a load of money , does not mean one can keep getting away with sleazy activity. The bloke has a long history of manipulating information for his financial benefit. It is Karma. Deal with it.

Anyone that defends his conduct might want to reevaluate their own set of values.

Don't make it any more "pollical" than it has to be. None of this is pleasant........but reality is HE brought this on HIMSELF. No matter how much he projects....ie blames everyone else for HIS conduct . No one is after him. He has been granted so many exceptions along the way ( the way rich people get a pass when others don't ;- That is the two tiered legal system: Rich vs regular guy)........that he now feels entitled to be exempted from the law. Let anyone else try this and see how it works out for them.

No need to defend or protect him. HE is accountable for HIS actions. By defending him, one is giving him the message that the law does not apply to him. and that he is somehow "exceptional". Which he is NOT.

This applies to his organization as well.

If you grift someone, you don't get off by paying back what you stole.

I know you may see it as "fascist", but it's well known US law.

Especially after a post like that and what was thought to be proof of crimes Trumps is being targeted with ;)

    I laughed..

Out of all the mugging, batteries and robberies just what percentage of them are related to what Trump is being targeted with.

    Seriously?

You think he should be allowed crimes that don't compare in size to the sum of ALL crimes?

Where is THAT idea in the law?
