I've dated a professional model and an NFL cheerleader. I am living proof that you don't have to have rippling muscles or chisled features to approach and yes, ask out someone most would consider out of your league. 9 out of 10 times, you're going down in flames...so it's a question of coping with the rejection. The fear of rejection prevents most guys from approaching, and they basically become a self-fullfilling prophesy. This is not to say, you can let yourself go completely and then expect to get a date on charm alone. You do need to look presentable...but you don't need to be a gym rat or look like Ben Affleck to date what most would consider well above average attractive women. Of course, expect other guys to hit on your date...right in front of you; if indeed you get that date. You'll soon learn, it's much less complicated to avoid the model types.
If you cannot find a date you have to change yourself. This is the most important and useful advise anything who is struggling in this matter can get.
You know....because I am in well over average physical condition and have been told I am very good looking by the ladies....plus the fact I am also sort of a GEEK when it comes to Particle Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmology, Astronomy...etc....as I am the guy that actually KNOWS the distance of Super Heated Plasma from the edge of our Universe at approx. 13.4 Billion Light Years and the point to the actual White Hole Singularity from where the BIG BANG ejection occurred.....379,000 Light Years.....I am the guy that knows a LOT of GEEKS who have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE HOW TO TALK OR DEAL WITH WOMEN!! I always tell them the same things.....OK....#1. GET CONTACTS. Then they whine and complain that they cannot stand the thought of feeling something against their eye's!! That's when I tell then...#2. STOP BEING A WUSS!! WOMEN HATE WUSSES!! #3. BE YOURSELF.....as you imagine you would be if you looked like me. #4. DON'T BE CHEAP!! Pay for your dates meals and drinks and NEVER...EVER use the D WORD....DUTCH!! #5. Make it clear to your date that although you might not look like much now....in 5 years your research will be bringing you home MILLIONS IF NOT BILLIONS.....while the Good Looking Kid next to her might be cute....He will be PUMPING YOUR GAS!!! #6. Let her understand that GEEKS TRY HARDER! #7. DO NOT DISCUSS SCIENCE OR MATHEMATICS OR ANYTHING TO DO WITH STAR TREK!!! #8. I agree; with me, it has gotten to the point where I don't even bother with free chics who are not insisting on getting a free sample from me.
You don't even have to be that good-looking to succeed in this field tbh. If you just have confidence the rest will come automatically. For the latter part a lot of goof-looking "non-geeks" (average (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)) are too, absolutely clueless on how to talk to or ttreat a girl. For the rest of that post I like how you tell your friends to start with themselves and not just buy one of these "Pick up books" and think everything will be fine once you learn what is said there.
A guy I've known for years always was a girl magnet, very cute girls, and then very beautiful women. He's not wealthy, just looked good, decent physique, tall, great smile and good sense of humor, and polite - though dynamic and fun loving. But the women were high maintenance, increasingly demanding, other guys always hitting on them, and they knew they could find another guy anytime they wanted to. He finally wanted to marry. The woman is a bit on the short and pudgy side, the kind of woman no man takes a second look at. His reason? "She treats me like a God. I never say it, but she could never find a guy half as good as me and she really likes to show me off to her friends. Besides, they all look the same in the dark." They have been together for many years and have 3 kids.
Confidence is very attractive to females and allows one to take advantage of this fact. IF you need someone to tell you how to find a woman...you are doing it wrong.
I prefer to spend more time doing than trying, simply Because, master Yoda, said so. I usually just use capital instead of women.
Women like unusual hats on guys..eye mascara and of course a tattoo of lips on the neck is a sure fire way to achieve a successful conquest. Does anyone remember this reality TV show from around 2007? Guy calls himself "Mystery" and instructs "nice guys" how to, for a lack of a better word...score...with women. That together with common sense (knowing how to act and treat people) are probably the only two components one needs to get a girlfriend. Women are not as seletive and greedy as so called "nice guys" make them to seem. For men maybe confidence is not that important because the confidant man will make the inconfident woman confident. The two components men look for is common sense and self-respect. Pretty much.
ahhhh......mmmmmm......well....there are confident men.....then their are (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)S! There are very few Alpha Females out there and I have known a few. And NO....being an Alpha Female does not mean she wears Black Knee High Boots...etc. It means she is capable to taking charge when others cannot. It mean's she thinks of the group before she thinks of herself. There are not many Alpha Males out there either although there are quite a few Psychiatrists who got a SWIRLIE in Gym Class that might classify such a person as an Alpha Male.....believe me...they are not! Being a TRUE Alpha is not just about strength and endurance and heart.....it's about caring for people you don;t know. I have a UFC Champion sparing buddy of mine and you know what HIS defining Alpha Male Trait is? It's not sparing against me. It's not even winning the UFC Title. He is ALPHA because he takes time every week to teach underprivileged kid's Martial Arts and how to control their emotions. THAT...is a true alpha!! AboveAlpha
I am not very much for the idea of categorising people in terms of etiology (Alpha, Beta etc) but I get your point and agree. Self-awerness and confidence is the key. Without these you will never be able to find a partner. Ever. I have never found it hard to connect with women on a more shallow level, but as I- in the past- have had some trouble with my self-esteem and confidence, deeper relationships with women have defaulted. For a very long time I was therefore really into this mumbo jumbo of "signs she likes you" and body language and whatnot. However, I later came to the realisation that just knowing "the signs" is not enough, you have to kow yourself too and if you are not successful at something it means you have to change yourself. Without confidence the knowledge is utterly useless. Yes. Hitting the gym is nothing that per se will make you more successful with women. But hitting the gym has the effect of boosting confidence and it is the boosted confidence that will bring you success. This of course means that you can be a skrony bag of bones and still find a gal as along as you are confident. Again this etiology crap is not for me, but I see what you mean
It's just that I run into these....been at the Gym all day long lifting low weight many hundreds of times to build muscle bulk but not muscle strength or density.....and they run into me and I NEVER start a fight....but out of nowhere I get swiped!! I let it go....as I am trained upon very high levels and don't want to hurt anyone....and then their GIRL FRIEND will take a swipe!! Because this girl get's off on seeing her man hurt others. Last thing in the world that I want is to hurt another....but I am well capable of killing another if I am not careful. And then it just goes downhill from there and I will walk away even if names are being thrown at me...unless....someone tries to hurt me or hurt another. That is where I draw the line. Even then I take it easy on them. I was in Wild Wood New Jersey a while back before it got hammered by Sandy and now this winter storm again....and evidently.....without my even knowing about it I offended this guy who's name was Joey....who's girl was named....Donna....because....and you will LOVE THIS ONE.......because Donna supposedly made some overture that was supposed to mean she was asking me to DANCE.....and I listen to everything and NEVER were ANY WORDS THAT COULD BE CONSIDERED....."Hey, would you care to dance?".....ever said to me!!! Evidently....Joey...with his Goomba wanna be friend Vinny.....thought I had...."Disrespected his girl." And this IDIOT even actually asked me...."Yo! What? You think your too good for Donna or something?" "Well maybe my friend Vinny and me wills teaches youz how to properliez treatz Broadz!! Ordinarily I would just try to talk my way out of such a think but I knew it would be a lost cause so as I walked up to Joey and he as expected attempted to Sucker Punch me....I broke his wrist, elbow and then slammed and broke his nose on my knee. This happened in about 0.7 of a second and Vinny plated the coward and ran out of the bar. I felt bad the next day and decided to see how the kid was. I made it to within the end of the hallway where his room was when I heard other's talking about how DEY WUZ GONNA FIND ME AND TEACHES ME SOME OF DEM MANNERS!!! I went back to my Hotel on the beach and stayed away from the Boardwalk for the last 4 days. AboveAlpha
