    Even so, I really do believe that there are plenty of people who when ASKED would say they are pro-life, but behind the scenes really just don't care about the issue, nor want to see it totally outlawed. lol

    There are "pro-life" politicians...who loudly proclaim their opposition to abortion to crowds oand TV cameras.....

    whose wives and girlfriends are then discovered to have had abortions at the behest of that same politician.....i.e. Scott DesJarlais (R-Tennessee).

    I'd go farther and say the majority of people are pro-life in the truest sense of what it means .. the so called "pro-lifer" here are very arbitrary in their description of what it means.

    They cannot seem to comprehend that a person can be be pro-choice as well as pro-life, hence their insistence of spouting the fallacy of pro-choice = pro-abortion.

    Pro-life doesn't necessarily mean anti-abortion or anti-woman as many here assume.

    I agree, which is why I only ever say any of the above if the comments used warrant it.
