Like you believe the Muslim religion will ever go away. Or the Christian religion.

Well I raised my Son and two Daughters to be Christian and I am very proud of them. I got this in my E-mail this evening. This is what I expect religion to do, not be that evil thing many of you want to make it. Although I must admit his E-mail shocked me. I never expected it.

    Dad and Uncle Donny

I just wanted to thank you both for serving in the military and help giving me the freedoms that I and so many Americans have the God given right to enjoy. So often I know many of us forget the sacrifices made by so many who have paid the ultimate price with their lives. I stand and salute you both and all the other veterans abroad. God bless you guys.

    Much love Steven

Actually with education, you can break down the barriers and superstition of religion.

She goes to the funding of universites done by Muslim groups. The middle east is a very important part of the world right now. Learning the culture of the middle east is important.

    And then to grade schools.
    1. Comparing it to Hitler, that's just wrong on a lot of levels.
    2.http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/b/byronislam.htm

And then to her "How great is America". If you believe in America so much, let the muslims choice their religion, and let them practice it in peace.

Right and if you watched that video you'll see just the kind of education our kids are getting. Liberals spend so much time cutting down Christianity and sticking up for Islam and it's Islam that you need to be worried about.

Learing and making kids act like Muslims (even if its 45 minutes a day in class) are two different things.

And what was up with the battle planning at end? Jihad :fart:

It should be replaced by Evolution, Abiogenesis, Quantum Physics, etc.

And as the speakers said, teach the kids about religion then let the parents deal with details.

As for christianity, it is the same as any other religious – its a cult and ALL cults are dangerouos.

Did you get to the 7th grade part?

PS: I agree with the speaker too. If you don't like America, I can spare some cash for your one way ticket to the country of your choosing.

I did. That would be the second part of what I posted before, not the first one.

Actually it is indoctrination. Comparing that to Hitler isn’t too far off.

Care to explain how this is different than Hitler or Muslim indoctrination?

CALIFORNIA public school preaching Islam in the classroom. ACLU nowhere to be found.
    Posted: November 3, 2011 | Author: barenakedislam | Filed under: Islam in America |Leave a comment »
When Dawn Kingsley’s seventh-grade daughter came home from school last week with a class project to diorama the five pillars of the Muslim faith, Kingsley was speechless. Religion has no place in public schools, she thought. A former educator herself, she remembered being forbidden from discussing religion with her students—so how is it OK to teach about Islam in seventh-grade history?

So I looked into it, rather than listen to an apparently bias person talk about it.

    I found (My source):

"Nancie Castro, the principle at the middle school, denies the children were taught to pray or that any of the children was required to participate in the cultural activities of wearing Middle-Eastern clothing or choosing a Moslem name. She told the Contra Costa Times that wearing the clothing was something offered for extra credit. The American Center for Law and Justice in Virginia has written a letter to the Byron School district demanding that parents be given the chance to choose whether their children participate in the required course on Islam. Castro says that when the flyers about the course were sent to parents, three families asked that their children be exempted from that particular portion of the studies and they were given alternate assignments. "

"Peggy Green, the Superintendent of the Byron Union School district says that the school is merely reflecting the California guidelines for seventh grade and that the students are learning about Islam in the same way that they learn about Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, and other major religions. She says that individual teachers will augment the curriculum with various activities and games, including dressing-up and role playing, in order to stimulate class discussion"

"Lemings, the teacher interviewed by Miles, says she has been troubled by the nature and content of some of the complaints to the school and issued a statement on January 15 saying, "Our schools have wonderful people teaching our children who are walking a fine line trying to comply with their state's regulations, a vague understanding of the separation of church and state and the possibility of a lawsuit on any given day.""'

"Educators with whom TruthOrFiction.com has spoken, however, say that they feel that the article sensationalized the issue and included some misinformation. It left the impression that this new class on Islam had been "slipped" into California public schools and that the state was mandating activities such as had been described as happening in the Byron School District."

"Islam has been an important part of history, and therefore an important part of studying history for a long time and is a part of the state guidelines for seventh graders just as teaching about Christianity is a part of the educational guidelines for 6th graders. That is the reason, according to Turpin, why the textbook "Across the Centuries" deals with Islam more than Christianity. It's a seventh grade text and that is the grade when Islam is studied. "In fact," says Turpin, "the state of California has been a leader in requiring a balance of teaching about who we are and what has empowered us as a civilization." "

And on a side note, nobody no matter what deserves to be compared to Hitler. That's just wrong.

If we must take religion out of schools then virtually ALL of the state constitutions cannot be read or studied in the classrooms.

This is a liberal attempt to remove the values that grounded people. made the country successful, and brought good values to the citizens.

    Post the link(s) then :)

Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it. I'd rather be wrong than repeat Hitler.

Sure do. You won't hear them teaching kids to kill. This is a summer Christian school. They are teaching kids to get involved and make your country better. They tell the kids to get out in their communities and help. To be soldiers for God. To get involved in politics where there is so much graft To respect the flag, your paents and your country.

They are brainwashing kids, the same as Muslims do, and Hitler did.
