Antisemitism is popular on the Right, but not exclusive to it. Many people belong to this cult that essentially thinks Africans are the lost tribes of Israel and that Jews are imposters who should be eliminated. These people concern me, but not as much as right wing extremists who just killed 11 this week.

Interesting, thanks. I wouldn't say anti-semitism is popular on the right, though. Most conservatives are pro-Israel, the majority of conservatives likely come from a Judeo-Christian background. Be cautious of conflating "the right" with National Socialists and the fringes who belong to white supremacy organizations.

 

Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the history of Christian white supremacist antisemites who have terrorized this nation. Just because someone is Christian, does not mean they aren't antisemites, antisemitism largely grew out of the Christian theological issue of Deicide, where the book of Matthew says that Christ's murder is on generations of Jews to come. Are you not familiar with Luther's, the Jews and Their Lies? Most Evangelicals are Zionists, but they are not the totality of Christianity or Conservatism in America. Nazis are on the Right, want to debate me? Conservatives can't help the fact that "Nazis" have embedded themselves amongst "the right", just as a sensible progressive can help that they have antifa/anarcho-commie types. Neither a sensible conservative or progressive wants to embrace the horrors of collectivism or facism. So again, thanks for your bit above, but no, anti-semitism is not popular on the "the right".

 

Largely playing semantics here, my main point is that while it is a feature of both left and right, it is a bigger issue on the Right historically and at the present.

 

My point is that conservativism in America is more aligned with Israel and Jews in general than not. By a long shot. In the context of history, and obviously we're primarily thinking of Hitler, we have to be careful of conflating national socialists of the past with modern day American conservatives. Put the two of us in an empty nation and there would be a literal war over ideology.
