For someone who advocates science, your statement above is actually very anti-scientific. You should never wait for your symptoms to get very bad to get monoclonal antibody treatment. If you wait when it’s your turn (and it’s not a question of if) for too long, you might miss your opportunity and be subjected to physically brutal treatment in ICU with no good targeted treatment options left available, and with blood clots, bruised lungs, long covid, and a whole host of other issues that are caused by trauma inflicted onto your lungs by the breathing pumps.

Wanted to add about waiting for severe symptoms before getting Regeneron. I had very mild symptoms, but I observed how stunningly fast it is - on the evening when I tested positive and got Regeneron I developed severe covid-induced pink eye in less than 2 hours. Think about it - in less than 120 minutes the whites in my eyes turned deep red for no apparent reason. I was literally stunned when I went to the bathroom feeling discomfort in my eyes and saw my face. So, when you get your positive result, do yourself a favor, get Regeneron right away. I observed covids speed with my eyes, but if it starts pounding your lungs in the evening, you might wake up in the morning when it’s already too late for Regeneron. They are already working on omicron antibodies, which they say should be available in about 3 months from now, so don’t assume they have old stuff.

By the way, an oddity about covid reporting - in almost every list of covid symptoms I saw online I did not see pink eye listed, even though the eyes are one of the routes of entry into your body. Maybe MSM suppressed this info to make it easier to lie about the impact of masks as a mitigation measure against a virus that can as easily use your eyes as it can use your mouth or nose, to gain entry into your body and get to your respiratory organs (remember, there is a connection between your eyes and your nose which can be used as a highway by the virus).

 

I am vaccinated, so I'll probably won't need it, but if my doctor recommends it then so be it. It comes across weird you'd rather listen to a politician than a doctor.

There could be many reasons to that, some of which could be purely partisan.
But, as someone who can easily operate on 3 languages, I can tell you that all covid reporting throughout the world is pretty much incompatible to each other. The differences in definition of cause of death or underlying conditions vary quite significantly. Also, populations willingness to cooperate and the point when they feel like they need to test also differs. Trying to compare official numbers between countries is a wild goose chase, because methodology of data gathering should be universally consistent (which is also the root of my beef with climate change, but that should be left to another debate). Even research on the same strain of virus seem to produce different results, as if the virus somehow had a national identity - for example, compare breakthrough and reinfection reports from Israel and the US. The climate also seem to have significant influence on the severity and duration of cycles - I think Florida will have annual cycles around summer time when more people tend to be indoors here due to high humidity, northern states (and most of Europe) will probably have their cycles around winter time, and CA will always have it relatively low because of their relatively dry and consistent climate which encourages people to spend more time outdoors regardless of the season.

 

Despite your guffaw, there is probably a good reason it's commonly called a flu shot and not a flu vaccine. You see, the flu shot is only a vaccine in the technical sense of the word - and I'm not just making a semantics argument here. When common people think vaccine they think immunity. Full stop. When you say 90% of covid deaths, it's not an outright lie, but you have to adjust for age. Old people are 1000 times more likely to die of covid compared to the young, and for this reason more likely to be vaccinated. Thus these are the reasons for your statistic, but the reality is still that the vaccine provides protection. See slide 41 of the source they cited below.



Those confidence intervals are massive because we're talking about too small of a sample size to evaluate the question, but the trend does not support your narrative and your narrative was wrong because they didn't adjust for age or per capita.
