i look at it it stereotypes.
it's a stereotype that a lot of Indians own 711s and hotels but statistically we do.
it's also a stereotype that we work in IT and are doctors, we do have an over-representation there as well.

in the same way, I look at the stereotype of Jews having a large influence in media and banking as based on the fact it probably stems from some level of truth. Why else would it be there ?

 

And if our Muslims are basically Britons living the Muslim faith why the need to push them out?

For once we agree on something....sorta....I want to see a Manhattan Project to make Fusion energy practicable. Fusion is the total Holy Grail of Power for everyone, the Energy Singularity; completely clean, completely safe, completely cheap and completely unlimited, (well, for the next billion years or so). And please spare me the BS about "25 to 50 years, maybe more (maybe never)" Many scientists even up until the late 1930's, thought that a Fission bomb MIGHT be made by the year 2000 with Fission power maybe a century later, what if we'd listened to them in 1941?

 

Good points. When it comes to nuclear power, we really don't understand it, we have, essentially recipes that work, and work well, but we have no understanding of the strong nuclear force. In fact, all we really do with nuclear power is boil water and then use steam to spin turbines. I hope that as we come to better understand the basic units of matter that we find much more efficient means of converting it to energy, perhaps fusion. Another massive source of power might come from taping into the heat at the core of the earth. But, until then, fossil fuel, hydroelectric and safer nuclear seems to be the tools available.

Muslims, Hindus and Jews have all been a part of British culture for centuries. All three faiths try hard to retain their religious values and are guilty of forming small enclaves amongst themselves just like the British ex-pats in Spain who refuse to learn the local language and reject the local cuisine in favour of fish and chips and (ironically) curry houses.
This failure to give up your culture is by no means exclusive to the Muslim faith.
And yes, some xenophobes do indeed call for an end to immigration from India. Also from the West Indies, Africa and even from white Christian Europeans.

 

However continuing to maintain the more violent aspects, such as murdering homosexuals, adulterers, and female genital mutilation, is exclusive to the muslim faith.

 

Muslims are different, they differ in their difference with western society. Whereas Hindus, Buddhists, Jews and others can assimilate in varying degrees, none of these manifests the strength of their desire to impose their different faiths on westerners Muslims have. They may proselytize and some preach their religious views, but none exhibit the degree of support for an effort to make their hosts like the society they fled.

 

Perhaps you can quote sources for homosexuals and adulterers being murdered by Muslims in the UK.
If there are cases then I'm sure they would have been dealt with by the police just like any other murder.

Then explain why the 3 million plus Muslims in the UK only make a handful of attacks per decade.
If their religion was exceptionally violent there would be hundreds of attacks each day.
