Up to them. This is how it should have been done from the beginning. Let local governments decide. It was ridiculous to do the mandates at the state level when there might have only been one or two cities where the rates were high in the state.

Such stupidity, they've already said that if it's not an N95 or KN95 it's worthless. Which is, of course, what they also said way the hell back in the March 2020 timeframe. Meaning anyone wearing anything that isn't that, which is 99% of people, may as well be wearing nothing.

Maybe you're thinking to EU GDPR regarding privacy and sensitive data [California law about privacy is really similar: they have copied EU!].
Health status is a sensitive data, so that the individual has got some right to keep it reserved.
But this doesn't mean to avoid consequences in case that such behavior causes damages to others.
To be legally accurate, even if the contagious person doesn't inform the partner before having sex, but he takes precautions [a condom, just to say] he cannot be punished. Why? Because the infection should be technically impossible ... in case of infection maybe there was something wrong with the condom, so that the producer of the condom would face legal consequences [obviously if the individual is really able to prove that he has respected all the precautions].

[2] You have an innate immune system (and even an adaptive one).
[3] If you are wearing a mask, then doesn't your mask work? If not, then why should I wear a mask that doesn't work?
[4] If you are vaccinated, then doesn't your vaccination work? If not, then why should I get a vaccination that doesn't work?

[4] Vaccination works for vaccinated persons. The last variants can infect vaccinated persons [with irrelevant consequences], but also vaccinated individuals could transmit these variants to not vaccinated persons. And vaccinated persons would risk something.

[3] Masks (whether N95 or cloth or otherwise) do not work with regard to COVID. Their pores are far too large and COVID viruses are far too small. COVID viruses will go right through the mask pores.

[4] If the vaccination works, then why are you (or liberals in general if you don't hold these beliefs) so concerned about being around "unvaccinated people" and "getting sick from unvaccinated people" and mandating that everyone get vaccinated?
