Funny blaming whites for slavery. Muslims (largely African, and Middle-Eastern) sold the blacks into slavery. I believe it was mostly white Christians who stood up against the oppression and freed the slaves. Ironic that the first black president would raise the immigration rate for these very same oppressors by 5x. Makes you wonder if we are headed back in that direction...

In Christianity it is permitted to purchase slaves. However, I believe it is clear that they must be freed after 7 years.
Exodus 21:2 If you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve you for six years. In the seventh year he is to be set free without having to pay anything.

In the Bible, sleeping with a slave was only permitted if you married the slave of her own will. Under the law at the time if you were not married, and you did this kind of thing, you were subject to public scourging and stoning. In summary, if someone did something like you describe, they probably were not Christian.

There were only a couple of instances in the Bible of genocides by Jews (pre Jesus, and Christianity). I believe all of these were commanded by God on cultures which practiced ritualistic child sacrifice. If you want to take the time to go into the history books.

In modern history, the Aztecs were wiped out by the King of Spain who I believe claimed to be Christian. In fairness to the Spaniards, I believe the Aztecs were also big into human sacrifice, and the army that killed them off was mostly made up of other Indian tribes in the area.

I grew up watching this TV show and I have great respect for early British settlers who colonised America. There is no doubt that many Native Americans were massacred in a series of wars but it's questionable if genocide was committed. Many white men married with native women in the early colonial era and the British colonisation of America was not as brutal as it has been described in school textbooks.

MY side lost the war? MY family has shed blood for this country in every war it has ever had, including the war that it was founded on. Fake patriotism and chest thumping do not impress me. It just indicates that someone is either infantile or overcompensating for being hung like a hamster - usually both.
