President Biden deserves to be credited with having the cojones to stand up to the MIC.

Apply for the job of military expert or stop the armchair quarterbacking purely for partisan reasons. In a few weeks it will all be over and then you can work on the Benghazi like hearings that went no where other than partisan politics.

Ability? In my opinion Trump was quite inept.

BS, Biden had to send in thousands more just to handle his screw up. If done right the Americans would have been out first.

Yes, Biden did do that, no question at all. But I do not even like Biden, let alone worship him like you do Trump

Biden failed us and our allies. He and the rest of the Leftists refuse to answer two simple questions and we all know why.

Should you pull out your military before your citizens?

Should you leave your allies in the dark and vulnerable?

The answer to both are "NO", but that simple answer eludes most Leftists as they refuse to be honest on how completely ****ed up were Biden's actions.

Absolute nonsense. We have every right, nay, the DUTY to do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of American citizens and allies. We control whether we are at war there. The Taliban controls nothing. The one advantage that the Taliban has is time in that they can out wait any occupying force, but they have no ability to commit offensive actions that would "drag us into a war".

Air power is absolutely sufficient to stop an advancing enemy which is precisely what happened as they drove at breakneck speed across the entire country. Of course we should have used airpower, and you can bet that if Biden had it to do all over again, he too would have taken that extremely painless precaution. Instead, they relied upon the Biden teams clearly faulty intelligence without planning for all contingencies. That is the very definiton of a failed plan.

OK...now the next step. How exactly do you think that if we are fortunate and the Taliban does not kill any of our citizens and allies, that somehow equates to everything being fine? That does not one thing to ameliorate the unnecessary danger that tens of thousands of people have been put into. It does not one thing to erase the reality that the UK, our closest ally condemning his actions in Parliament?....or their former Prime Minister Tony Blair calling his actions "imbecilic"?
How can you POSSIBLY think that if somehow nobody is killed (which is unlikely but we can all hope for the best) that all of a sudden this magically does not become a foreign relations blunder of EPIC proportions?

Many people hated Trump, and I think mainly because of a massive and unprecedented personal attack political strategy from the left. Some, including a personal friend, disliked his personality to the point that his abilities didn't matter at all, and were denied. I don't have any problem saying that Trump was narcissistic, had a huge ego, sometimes crude manners and/or bully tactics. Lots of people who can handle really heavy positions do. But it's like having a doctor with a poor beside manner, but the right skill. He doesn't get much fan mail, but if he's the only guy who can do the job right, he does stay busy.

I look at politics like business. Some positions require more tact than skill, some more skill than tact- and in some cases, skills are everything, and only the tough survive. Hate him or not, Trump was tough, and was making good things happen. I remember an article from Rasmussen, stating his accomplishments in the first 100 days were far beyond any previous president. He was doing the right thing on the border; I don't think anybody really believes otherwise, despite their claims- but the momentum of hate ruled the Trump era, and people who bought into it couldn't think without going there. . And you know what? That same momentum put us were we are now- crime wave breaking out in the mist of a national pandemic crisis, racial hate promoters causing as much trouble as possible, police being attacked and run off- it's been like a zoo. NOT because of Trump- but because of the attitudes of the left, of the radicals... AND OF THE PERMISSIVENESS ALLOWING SUCH OUTRAGEOUS CONDUCT.
The fact is they discarded all values and self-respect to pursue it- and cities, governors and judges were so intimidated by the rush of disjointed logic they waffled and took part in it.

Since Jesus wasn't on the ballot, Trump was the choice, and his promise to make America great again (which many hate and do not want....) was just the ticket. I think he over-estimated the caliber of citizens of today; thought the concept would be popular with all. It is of course non-partisan, or at least we thought so. 50 years ago, he would have had a ringer. Today, we have far too many people who hate their own country.

What if we revoked the citizenship of people who hate the nation and deported them? Buy Greenland or something for them, let them put up signs there barring anyone that doesn't hate America and Trump. Solve lots of problems for everyone. That way they could build their own nation the way they want, and suffer together. Misery loves company; that's why it's so important for them to make everyone miserable.

I really like this, it says it all.

"This is what happens when your kid doesn't hear the word 'no' until he's in his 70s. Parents teach your kids they won't always get their way (preferably before they're out of diapers and definitely before they are back in them."

    How true it is.

not sure what your asking, how long did Trump have to be President before he was responsible for ObamaCare?

this was Trump's deal, he was the one that negotiated with the terrorist and released the 5000 Taliban fighters before getting our people home

Trump will always be responsible for his failed Trump\Taliban deal

Biden will get blame for his parts too

It is a very clear question. When something goes wrong, Biden and Biden supporters blame Trump. At what point is Biden responsible for what happens. He has been in government for over forty years. Was a VP for eight years. He has been president for seven months. It appears that he should have the job mastered by now. If Trump left him with a problem, he had ample time to fix it.

The withdraw happened one hundred percent during his watch.

So you find that he was very able. Still, he completely botched the response to the pandemic which then destroyed the one thing one could arguably say he had going for him, the economy. He got fooled by Kim Jong-un. He negotiated with terrorists (Taliban). He tried to subvert the results of free elections. That's the able guy for you? Me, I think he was a disaster, and not because of bad "bedside manners" (I don't care as much for that part - would forgive that if he had good results). I look at results. His results were terrible. If you compare all indicators when he took power to the ones when he left, pretty much everything went downhill. And not for a second I think he ever wanted to "Make America Great Again." He merely wanted to Make Trump Great Again.

Ask them... Who "agreed".... Do you have any reports or articles from actual people who have returned from Kabul... i don't trust a one of any government official or fake news reports.... but I would like to hear from actual people to tell us how they were notified, rescued, or any complications getting to the airport... why are UK, french, and germany able to get their people out but the great US can't get theirs out.

There are people who hold those views, but mostly those who object to any view which in validates their own.
How did he botch the pandemic? I know you don't consider the warp speed vaccine program botching the job, it worked better than any other strategy tried so far, and was no doubt the single most important step to date in saving live.

How was he fooled by Kim jong-un? You surely don't think that by treating him with some respect; and smart negotiator knows you don't openly insult those you are negotiating with if you hope to get any cooperation. Doing so does not mean you trust them or respect them- it means you want to bring the bastard to the table and get the objective achieved, so you feed his ego some. I assure it's a sales tactic that works- and Trump is both a salesman and an excellent negotiator.

Negotiating with the Taliban would seem a necessity if we were to ever extricate ourselves from Afghanistan, wouldn't it? We've been trying to dictate for 20 years, unsuccessfully, but we all agree we needed out. This is where Trump had a working plan underway, and Biden blew it off because it was Trumps- when he had nothing to put in it's place. Now, Biden is negotiating with the Taliban from a point of weakness. That is also what has embarrassed us in front of the world and put thousands of lives at risk. Biden, not Trump has done that.

He tried to "subvert" the result of free elections.... Now you're a smart guy. I made the point earlier that no president in history has won office without winning the support of the people, and hiding in the basement and avoiding the public would insure total defeat. This "free" election was so tainted that regardless of being able to prove who did what, to say it was free is pandering to the propaganda narrative. At least 50 million Americans openly believe that the election was stolen by fraud. A lot more feel that way but don't want to deal with the backlash the left is using to keep people from from saying so. Are they all stupid? Did all those fluke incidents that moved the tallies at the last minute just happen as unprecedented anomalies all at the same time? Any intelligent person knows the odds of that are infinitesimally remote. To say the elections were free carries the same credibility as the infamous dossier. IF Trump had not suspected fraud, I would have had to lower my estimate of his capacity. We know, "Where's the proof?" As I've said many times- we watch magicians do things we can't explain, but we are not so stupid we think they are really magic. Neither was this election. Trump knew it, I knew it, most of the people I know knew it- and I think you do too.

Where I think Trump failed while in office- and I don't know for sure what the limits to his powers would have been- is to allow the riots, the roving vandalism, the police hate and the insane BLM/CRT crap to take hold of the nation like a disease... and those are SICK people. A very great deal of this was criminal- and not just in the streets, but in the offices of city and state officials, in the offices of prosecutors and judges letting criminals go free. That should have been stopped cold, and the consequences should have been harsh.

By comparison, I have yet to hear Biden say anything that is a clear vision he has followed or see him invoke any concept that has genuinely served the good of the nation. No president in history has failed so totally and so fast. While I've always felt he would do poorly and he has grossly exceeded my expectations, I did intend to give him a fair chance and would have praised any good actions. Factually, I underestimated his ability to mess things up- Despite Obama's words that we should never do that.
