    Some states put templates online, spurring pro-Trump and anti-vaccination forums to start spreading tips for how to create fake cards.

    Specific directions showing how to forge Covid-19 vaccination cards have proliferated on conspiracy, pro-Trump and anti-vaccination forums throughout the internet in recent weeks, as users have exploited a largely makeshift verification system.

    The cards, distributed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have been handed out to the more than 140 million Americans who have already received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccination. The Biden administration has declared it wouldn't create a federal vaccination database, citing privacy concerns, paving the way for the cards to become the country’s default national way to verify if someone has been vaccinated.

    And while one state — New York — has embraced a vaccination verification app, there is scant evidence that others are close behind.

    I hope there will be stiff penalties for attempting to forge these. Anyone doing so is placing others at mortal risk.

    Yeah, they seem to tolerate and even embrace everything Trump does because they believe lots of awful things about Democrats / liberals / progressives, which allows them to "circle the wagons" and ignore any issues on their side of the fight, and they really want to believe that Trump actually cares about them and fights for them the way he has claimed to do. He's a natural at playing the martyr since, in his demented mind, he really is one. NPD is a bitch.

    make it a felony to show a fake medical card.... then those republicans can lose their right to vote or own a gun too

    Well, well, isn't the GOP the "law and order" party? Or do they just like to use the heavy hand of law enforcement on others they don't like? Because on 1/6 we saw that "law and order" became inconvenient when the task was to keep their leader in office. My feeling: "law and order" is only pretense, they are only too happy to break the law when it is about their perceived "freedom".

    I got a card with my shot record and name on it when I got my second shot. There is nothing threatening about the card.

    I love it. A liberal news source posts a story about bogus CDC cards and post a picture of a blank copy of a CDC card. What could go wrong?

    One wonders if the millions of Xiden supporters who refuse the vaccine are using that site or another for their fake cards?

    So you don't think punishment should fit the crime. What is the punishment for forging a driver license? Perhaps that could provide you some guidance.

    Enlighten me...just when did a card showing the date of an inoculation become a LEGAL DOCUMENT? Does that mean the little card I got 3 years ago with a Tdap booster is one too? Yessiree..it ain't Covid that keeps me awake at night, FAR from it.

    Being a card carrying covidite does nothing to prevent one from catching and carrying the virus or from being an unamerican, unrepentant jerk who spreads sickness of both body, mind, and spirit, to the masses. Ironically, those who loathe former President Donald Trump are the ones most fervent and zealous to demand that all receive the vaccination made available by the labors and sacrifices of Trump and his administration. I can only imagine their relationship with God, and the enchanted bramble of their captivity....bent, stuck and contorted like sojourners in a mythical Greek riddle.
